What is this challenge in Level 2 Tome??
What is wrong with devs? That's impossible for someone who plays only solo queue. Especially the one where you need to REPAIR 4 GENERATORS IN A SINGLE TRIAL in level 4 tome with a ######### perk when you could put Alert or other perk.

You can literally hop on a gen last second and that will count since there was a similar challenge, in the first tome that said repair 4 generators completely but I found that you can just hop on a gen last second and that would still count. Just do what someone above said and put on bond to help yourself.

When they said that you can get all your auric cells back you didn't think they really mean it, did you? It's just a money grab to finance dedicated "servers".

on the other hand, players also thought the new trap set animation for trapper was a place holder, and now we're stuck with it.

You're not supposed to win this immediately, you know. It's an incentive to play more trials.

this is a challenge, it’s supposed to be challenging. I only really play solo. It isn’t impossible.

Pretty sure you just need to have dark sense active 3 times, so really you just need 3 gens to be done.
I think that they might have forgotten that dark sense was changed to proc whenever a gen is completed, and not how it was before where it would only proc when you completed a gen.
That and it wouldn't make sense to add dark sense into this when the challenge can just be complete 3 gens. But that is just my thoughts.

It says completely repair so you would have to actually do the gen.
It's the same thing as the healing with empathy and searching chest with plunderers instinct

Tome II comes out the same day as rank reset, and I've done 4-5 gens by myself at that time when no-one finds ruin.

For this challenge, you just need to be on a gen when it is completed 4 times, you don't have to fully repair it. It isn't that difficult at all to do, though it might take a few trials attempting it

Yeah, @Peanits said on another post that you just have to be on the gen when it pops. It's worded pretty badly. Should say complete gen repair, not completely repair gen.

If you play only solo then you have a better chance of getting that challenge done lol. Nothing but potatoes for survivor teammates

Hope your teammates aren't taking all the spots at a 2 or 3 person gen. Why don't you get on that 1 person gen while they knock out the rest?

Hey man, dark sense isn't that bad, if gives you info on where the killer is if you don't use really good headphones or don't use them at all.

It's luck based. Luck based that you team mates are dogshit but also that the killer is dogshit. You can finish that 1st try or NEVER because you have ZERO control about that in solo Q. Sorry to break it to you lad.

Is there one for escaping through the hatch in a single trial? How many players get to escape using the hatch in a single trial as the hatch doesnt appear until you are the last survivor.

They adjusted it to 2 and I also believe that you don't have to fully repair the whole generator - just be on it when it finishes.

That's not true. Hatch appears when the amount of gens done is the same as the amount of survivors left +1.
So 3 survivors and 4 gens done = Hatch appears.
2 Survivors and 3 gens done.
Hatch appears when all 5 gens are done and can be accessed by all 4 survivors with a key.

Some clarification would be nice.
Does it need you to be on the gen when it pops regardless of time spent on it? That means you are better to not start a gen and run around and finding others being worked on.
Does it mean if you worked on a gen for 5 seconds and someone else pops it you get credit? If so just run around and do 5 seconds of each gen on the map and hope 3 get done.
Either way 3 gens on a lvl 2 challenge is a bit much. Id prefer to see challenges such as this be done in a way that the total time spent is counted over all gens you work on and at a max of 2 since that's much more realistic in a match.
Challenges should be personal and not dependent on other players imo as it just makes challenges more swf than solo orientated and they should be done via a normal playstyle.

Yep doing 5 gens is possible, I've never done it but I have managed 4 once or twice.
I do think these challenges need to be based more on whats probable though and not just possible ?.

I agree. The especially egregious one is "fully complete 3 gens using Dark Sense" as if this is actually possible. Maybe for rank 15's where no one does gens, but at red ranks you'd be lucky to do 1 full gen by yourself.

How many other people in the playerbase? A man with the name of Marathon ran a Lot of miles one day a long time ago; but I can't recall anyone else doing such; at least on common occasion (My point is; just cause it happened once doesn't mean it's justifiable to be expected from a majority of people)

"completely repair" means "repair to completion", not "repair by yourself from 0 to 100". You just need dark sense to proc x many times in the trial by being on the gen when it finishes.

You are right, they must have changed it this week as last time I was looking was on Friday :) My bad.
But I am more interested if my assumption about you only have to be on the gen when it finishes is right. Will try that when I get there.

You just have to be on the gen once it pops, I got it first try, quite lucky but it isn't so hard as it seems. Bond could help alot
