Opinions of the Spirit changes from a Spirit main (who also plays survivor!)
I've mained Spirit since she came out and I gotta say I LOVE those changes! This will bring her more in line with other killers without completely making her unplayable. I think I will have a better time as a survivor against her and still be strong when playing as the killer.
The Prayer Beads update was actually was I suggested which is nice, I am actually surprised she didn't get nerfed harder like a longer cooldown of 20 seconds instead of 15 of her ability.
I just don't agree with the vaulting animation nerf. I think the mindgame was actually fun as a survivor but well.
Good job on addon changes, interested how she will play after the patch. Curious to stack yamaoke amulet and the green talisman and get a ~10 seconds haunting.
I really like the update, it will be healthy for the game in my opinion.

They should have given her a tell, for when she activates her power.

I personally won't be using the Yakuyoke Amulet much personally, I value speed over haunting duration as a Spirit main.
The faster I can go, the faster I can block down survivors in a chase ^^

No, what I mean is I can reach the pallet before them and hit them before they could get near.
Now without collision, it makes it that much easier.

Id say not. Prayer beads is good for map pressure since you don't know if shes going to you or not . The only problem I have with it is if you are going against a swf and they know you have prayer beads and they could ask if you are phasing and you might be trying to fake phase

I mean oh wow they step off the gen for a couple seconds because they think you could be phasing near them wow. That's honestly pretty irrelevant.
It's also destroying your chase because now the person you're chasing knows when your phasing every time.

I assume they still cant hear you if they are inside your Terror Radius. If they can however then this would make me completely avoid Prayer Beads.

They used the word "Global" which tells me everyone including the person in your TR. Which would make the addon trash.
If however it still doesn't play for people in your TR then it's just meh now. Honestly just addons reducing your power cooldown and activation are probably better.

I still prefer this over original Prayer Beads to be perfectly honest.

I rarely used Prayer Beads but it was a needed thing to have an equal chance against a 4 man SWF on coms at rank 1.

Yea people that were asking for this are going to regret it. It opens up a new door for tech where you just sprint to the pallet ahead of the survivor, exit phase, and body block it. At least previously you'd have to go around to the other side to do that which was only possible if you had speed/duration add-ons or it was just the right distance.
I'm going to do this as much as I can and just deny survivors every window vault and pallet I can. They will be begging for collision back LOL.

If you would've any clue about spirit or the counterplay to spirit, you wouldn't like to get rid of her mindgame potential completely. That's a big part of her power you know.

I agree with OP, I have also mained spirit since she came out and rarely use purple add ons since I learned to play her. Im just sad they nerfed my activation time as that was my go to add on combo. Still she will still be viable.

It’s obvious to tell when she phases. If you still struggle you’re not experienced enough so don’t expect everything to go your way. I recommend using iron will as it is the easiest escape for a spirit. I’ve had multiple games where the spirit could not use her power on me because she kept losing me with iron will. At the end she ended up becoming an M1 killer with 110% movement speed, loops for days.

I am asking for a tell for when she's going into phase, not that she IS phasing.
Just like a trapper can fake putting a trap down for a survivor to leave a loop, so would the spirit be able to fake going into phase.

Still, I don’t know why you would want to reach the pallet before the survivor though. It doesn’t make any sense when you can just “hit” them before they reach the pallet.

Because then you force them in the opposite direction away from a loop.
It also means that if you are trying to body block for another survivor the Spirit can just pass through you can get that person now.
This will probably back fire. I could be wrong but I can already picture some of the new tricks she can do and how survivors won't like it.
