By tricks I assume you mean dream pallets? Because snares are not tricks. Used right they are unavoidable. Survivors can see you place them and it makes no difference except to discourage them from using that loop (which puts them in a catch 22, either they run the loop and caught easily or they don't and are caught easily).

The thing is it doesn't mean there is no counter play. It's like Hag where he can push you away from a loop but if you path well you can just run from loop to loop and he resets his snares. And you can still hit a snare and out play him, it's just gonna be harder to do.

Freddy is fine, not many people play him tbh, I play a good about of killer and survivor and don’t run into him often. I do play him as killer a lot, and it’s always a 4k hehe

I don't Hag will get nerfed. She can be very strong, but barely any people complain about her anymore, despite her "campy style".

Am I playing her in the wrong way? I don't place traps close to hooked survivors, I use them against loops, pallets, shack, exit gates, etc.

Urban is worthless if you have good traps placements. Object of Obsession is actually a bigger issue for her than fllashlights.

I'm aware, and a lot of Survivors die even in red ranks because
"Oh this Hillbilly's Chainsaw is at 99, I'm just gonna jump through this window instead of looping, oh wait... Hillbilly hit me through the window despite being close to me and having his Chainsaw revved up?! This is bull(poop but with an s)! DBD hitboxes!!!" blah blah blah, the only reason Survivors lose to a saw is because they make themselves easy to hit.

because all the cries from spoiled survivor, all killers got nerfed..
"omg, nurse is overperforming" --> Nurse got nerfed
"omg, spirit is overperforming" --> Spirit got nerfed
what next? billy? freddy again? Why don't they make the killer an A.I. instead? oh and yeah, great community indeed when the killers get 4k and got reported because patroling hooked survivor, because all the other survivor surround it. And yeah survivors are not wrong from body blocking all the. Great.
