Rift Challenge - Completely repair three generators in a single trial
- Make sure Dark Sense as a perk is equipped.
- Select an engineers tool box and additional charges
- Find a generator and start repairing. Finish generator
- Find the second generator and finish repairing (this may be done with co-op if another survivor is also working same generator)
- Find third generator and about a third of the way thru it, see Find Exit appear as the last two generators were done without your help.
- Repeat in the next match. On third generator be at 95% when the friendly neighborhood killer appears..but doesn't strike you.. yet.. frantically try not to miss a skill check, do so, killer whacks you and on the hook you go.
- While on the hook the Find Exit sign appears letting me know yet again I have failed.
- I know its possible to do this but I wondered if any players who have completed this might have some input.
(Note to mods... if this is really more of an Ask the Community type post... feel free to move it)

I’ve seen three people complete this three different ways:
how I did it: struggled for a few games, then had a game with two dumbass teammates who kept alternating who was on the hook so I got my 3.
how my wife did it: worked with me on 3 gens together. Every time the killer got close I ran out to distract.
how a rando did it: told us in the lobby he was going for it. My wife and I 99% gens around the map for him, and he did his own. Wound up using a combination of the mostly done gens to pop it.

Excellent response thank you.

Got lucky I guess it took 3 tries for me and I play solo. 1st game 2 dcs occurred and legion let us farm. He got bored when I was almost done with the 3rd genny and killed us.
2nd game not even close
3rd game was auto wreck haven map against wraith who was more focused on camping

I did it in a SWF. Most of these missions are easier if you can get teammates who are willing to work with you on it. My friends just 99'ed generators, and then called me over to finish them.

It took 3 tries, my team made a Demogorgon cry with our massive gen rush, boy got 2 hooks that match.
It really just takes luck to be honest, make damn sure you know where the Killer is and then sit on a Gen, sneak away when the Killer is coming then sneak back just as he turns away, Bond will help you find others to finish gens with.

First try here. Just playing normally. I even did 4 gens.

I just used a genrush build. No Mither, resilience, this is not happening and the strongest toolbox with strongest addons. Thankfully ruin was up the whole match, it allowed me to do only just 3 gens while my potatoe mates were searching for ruin the whole time. Huh, seems like rank reset has something good with it, I was never happier than this time to have actual potatoes doing nothing. Was pure luck tho, I haven't really done anything.

I think luck is a big factor in the challenges. The progressive ones by their nature are able to be done across several matches. The master challenges however require completion in a single trial.
It is the master challenges that perhaps present the greatest difficulty to newer players.

Actually I was. The first and second generators I soloed and finished, I was a third of the way when working the third generator solo when the final generator in the tally was completed. The one I was actively repairing remained unfinished and I did not get the credit.

Got it in my first trial. First Gen was completed by me, at first another Survivors was also on a Gen, but he ran away and got chased when I blew it up (sorry ;_;).
Second Gen done by my own.
Third Gen almost finished by another Survivor, I sat there for 2 seconds until it was finished and got my Challenge.
ez.

Commodious toolbox with yellow repair speed addon and BNP help a lot . Did it on my first try . I have much more problem with healing 10 survivors since I am not that altruistic .

Thought this was gonna be stupidly hard, but completed it on my first attempt. Went in with a friend, a yellow box, Dark Sense, and Bond. Popped 3 gens while the Hag chased our randoms. Little bit of luck was involved here because they got chased for a while.

I did it on my first try, did 5 gens through ruin on the first time winning Hawkins Lab. Starting off.
- Perks: Streetwise, Stake out, Dark Sense, Sprint Burst. You need Streetwise for toolbox efficiency, Stake Out for detection and possible great skill checks for speed or ruin, Dark Sense for dank dev memes, and Sprint Burst to get to a gen asap.
- Item: Commodious Toolbox (180 charges) with Wire Spool (30 charge) and Instructions (increased efficiency).
- Offering:Hawkins Laboratory. Most survivors do not seem to know where generators are in this map. do your best to not get lost.
- Lobby: tell teammates what you're doing, hopefully they will listen and find something else to do.
- Playstyle: Ignore everything else in the game but gens, do the gens, don't do anything else, even thinking about doing something else will impede doing the gens. DO THE GENS! DO THE GENS! DO THE GEN!!

I just put on bond and prove thyself to stalk people and had a toolbox. I find if you have prove thyself, people will flock to you when you're on gen, even if ruin is still up.
Played normally without caring and got it in a few games. Since you don't have to be on it for the entire time, it's not too bad. Will probably be harder the higher rank you are since people will sit on gens more often and you might not get to the gen before it pops.
If you get a camp-y/tunnel-y killer then that also will hurt thy chances.
