Why is it so difficult...
to revert all the nerfs Legion has received so far, BUT keep the current deep wound timer (it doesn't go down while in terror radious) to prevent exploits?
He was so good back then and I have to confess I played him more than Rin, but now he is worse than old Freddy

At least Spirit's nerfs were not that bad...

They probably thought of this, and tried it, and it didn't work out the way that you think it would.
Believe me, the answer to "why didn't the developers think of this?" is usually "they did, but either they couldn't do it, or it actually wasn't very good," and it's way, way, way more common than the average player thinks it is.

This.
I never had a problem with old Legion, except the moonwalk exploit.
I wish they would bring old Legion back and just keep the current deep wound effect, that the timer does not run out on it's own while in terror radius.
That was always te only change he needed anyway.

No thank you. The majority of the community don’t want the old Legion back. He was extremely boring to play as and against.

Legion needs an entire rework, the old version was still bad tbh and there was no actual counterplay.

Old Legion had its problems but that doesn't mean what the Devs did to them was the right move.
Overall, Legion just needs a full rework. Hopefully by the one who did Freddy.

If they veverted all the changes without changing the deep wound timer he would be garbage.
Like FF is too short to get other people, and He would be super slow and easy to loop. His power would only help you get the first hit and than you would just have to loop as a 110% killer.

I'm in favor of reworking the power entirely.
Personally, I'd make it so that Legion requires more hits than usual to down a survivor, but has a much shorter cooldown on successful attacks than other killers. And I would change their power to just be a sprint that helps them get across the map, with the killer instinct popping on anyone within 32 meters so it's like a better version of Whispers. Ends when the timer runs out or on first swing, whichever happens first.
Playing against the Legion should feel like being hunted down by fast, scrappy, relentless kids. They're always chasing and always attacking, making up for what they lack in brawn with speed and psychotic aggression. Maybe increase the duration of pallet stuns on them to compensate or something.
IDK, I'm not a dev, I just love the idea of this killer and wish they were more playable.

He's getting buffed, so I think we should just wait to see how the buffs work out.

I disagree, he had very little viable counterplay to all but the most skilled survivors. And even then, he felt like a chore to play against.

God yes revert the cooldown the cooldown add ons and vault speed

I know his speed is increased and his buttons are changing. Deep wounds seems negligible now though

Honestly, Deep Wounds should still hit 0 on a self mend, but not if a teammate is healing you. This would:
- Allow Legion to pressure people so they incap via Deep Wounds by just not having enough downtime to self-mend. IE: They have to keep running away & losing a second or two between chases (since it does not count down in a chase).
- Allow Survivors to work together to prevent an incap.
- Punish solo survivors who work on a generator for 99% of the Deep Wound bar, then start self-mending with 1 second left.
Seriously. WHAT is the damn point of Deep Wounds when a Survivor can wait until the literal last second, THEN start mending & avoid any and all punishments? What did Deep Wounds do? It did not slow down gen repairs, because they just ignored it until the last second.

I don't know if I agree with this. The broken mechanics of old Legion were
- mending timer regressing when not in a chase
- mending timer regressing on multiple hits (with the correct add-ons one would have needed just two FF)
- no penalty for missed attacks
Those three things together meant that if a killer wanted to down a survivor there was simply no way to escape him - no juke, no stalling, nothing.
Those three things were amended, but then there were huge nerfs in vaulting speed, ff mechanics (you can't use it if not fully charged), ff speed, increased terror radius... the only serious buff he received to counter act the nerfs was his base movement speed.
Too many changes, too debilitating - I seriously doubt that in their internal playtests they are able to discern what is enough and what isn't. I mean, they didn't think about the following a deep wounded survivor without chasing him in the first place ;).
And now they remove Save The Best For Last :(

His power is useless and they are about to cripple him completely.
Legion WILL be the universally agreed on worst killer in the game.
AWFUL AWFUL changes.
Just let the guy who reworked Freddy redo Legion FFS.

Old Legion was super weak without Frank's mixtape and cold dirt. I'd rather have him get the proper rework that he deserves.

Or just remove the deep wound status entirely since you will never get downed by it unless you intentionally try to. Really if they kept legion as a 110% movement soeed killer but made DW timer go down regardless of chase/terror radius, Legion would be in a good spot.
