if solo play gets brought up to the level of SWF survivors are going to have to get massive nerfs

As if Survivors ever listen to reason. We warn them time and time again that some of the things they request will inevitably lead to a bad outcome, but they disregard what we say. When they inevitably do lead to a bad outcome, they cry. When it's fixed, they forget all about it.

I can see survivors losing a lot of power in the not so distant future, more than they have ever lost before.Orion said:As if Survivors ever listen to reason. You must be new.
It's nice to meet you!

That's the point.

No.
Survivors are not going to need massive nerfs.
Killers are going to need massive buffs.
The whole point of buffing solo queuers, bringing them to SWF level, is to then balance around SWF level.

For that to happen they will have to add voice chat.
Till that's in the game there won't be any "massive" nerfs. It's just the salt talking.1 -

Won't happen, the same few will keep generalizing and when the killers get buffed to proper level stil whine. It's almost as if most killers and survivors don't post on any social media platform. It's almost as if the vast majority on both sides don't complain and will adapt just fine.
As I've said before once they finally get this in the right place the same few will keep whining because that's all they can do and it'll be apparent it wasn't imbalance all along that was their issue.

They aren't, and if I need to explain that then that's your problem.
Like I said, survivors are going to be buffed to SWF potential, and then killers will be buffed accordingly.
Exhaustion was a nerf to survivors but in no way effected the way the Killer system works? There were no changes to Killer in how ANYTHING works when exhaustion was changed. Not a buff to killers.

You're arguing semantics, the outcome is the same, this is a pointless conversation, there's no need to get worked up over terminology when the result is the same.Brady said:@yeet said:

They're already planning to rework half of the killers.

If the reworked killers have the same anti-chase capabilities as new Hag, I don't see where's the need.

I really want to be optimistic about the future.
But lets not kid ourselves the power role will never change.

No they're really not, there are loads of ways they can actually buff Killers not only as a whole but individually as well but because it would put immense pressure on solo players they couldn't exactly go along with it now that they're trying to make them more in line they can efficiently buff Killers individually and generally without having one group of the survivor base suffer immensely from it.yeet said:

Pot meet kettle and what you're really trying to say here is you have no argument and are resorting to the classic Straw Man.

There's not even an argument here, the outcome is the same, so why bother arguing terminology? I really don't understand where you're trying to go with this.powerbats said:@yeet said:

There is an argument here, you just don't want to have one since you can't argue your point effectively. The outcome is different but since you can't debate you result to the time honored tradition of Logical Fallacies.

I stated, that survivors will lose power compared to killers if solos are brought up to the power of SWF, how the developers go about that is totally irrelevant, i don't see where you disagreed at all.powerbats said:@yeet said:

Trapper rework didn't change his core problem. A little QoL improvement but that's it.Visionmaker said:They're already planning to rework half of the killers.
Wraith cube made him even weaker.
Devs ask mains about the weakness of a killer and then they ignore it and do something completely different.
I'm not optimistic about the future.
Survivors review bombed after some minor nerfs, that didn't affect the majority of them.
I don't know how they would react after a hard nerf/buff. But I doubt that it will be less than the last time.0 -
yeet said:Just a word of warning to people who think that closing the gap of solo and swf will be a net positive for survivors, it will actually be a substantial reduction in survivors power. Be ready for that
We'll devs are actually buffing survivors in general while trying to lift up soloplayer to swf lvl. I can only hope that enough killers will leave such that those entitled survivors enjoy 30 min queue times to find their next bullying target0 -
There's definitely ways you can nerf survivors that would affect SWF far more than solos.Aari_Piggy66 said:

Also, no survivors were asking for this, BHVR just put it forward, again, more lies to perpetuate that all survivors ask for is buffs.1
