Aftercare is so great and is definitely under used. Its great for information without someone having to be injured (Empathy) or requiring survivors to be close with Bond (although Open Handed with Bond is great)
3 stacks of Aftercare can determine the outcome of a trial and raise the survival percentage considerably. It would be cool if more people ran it.
I love aftercare if I can get aura-read on everyone. :)
I just wish it didn't deactivate if you were hooked would be a better bond with a few extra steps

Agreed, best solo and even SWF perk, only one person needs it and it can be the difference between whether your team dies or not.
As someone who typically ends up as the gen jockey I find Bond works fine for keeping myself undetected. My view is why use Aftercare when Bond will basically do the same thing? If you don't see people near you and don't hear a TR then you know the killer isn't close (unless stealth) if you want to find that injured survivor just move towards the middle of the map and you will almost always find the aura.
I'm not saying aftercare is bad (its great if your playstyle is altruistic) I personally just find Bond more reliable.
Honestly I don't think it would be too strong if they got rid of the deactivation on hooks.
If it didnt it would be broken! lol
I understand that you personally find Bond more reliable. Bond is great but Aftercare is great also. A survivor can be full screen away 1 or 2 gens left and because of Aftercare they can make better assesments of a situation. I dont run Self-Care on my Survivors so if im injured and really need a heal, no matter where i am on the map i can get to the person because of it and get healed.
"Oh that person was working on that far or near far gen and now they're getting chased, I'll go finish that gen they were working on"

Really wish it created a web of auras so everyone could see each other. My only real complaint with the perk.
Then Aftercare would be broken! lol
