Rank Reset

I am completely confused by the proposes rank reset changes proposed in the patch notes for 3.4.0. It looks like on reset everyone will have the same rank depending on which color they were before. So like ranks 1-4 will reset to rank 5, so anyone who is 1, 2, 3, 4 will reset to rank 5.

Can we eliminate depipping at 13-16 ranks please? It would make the game a little more enjoyable

    I wouldnt mind that change only if pipping as surv wasnt as easy (im playing both roles equaly) and i have hard time keeping myself away from red ranks (i dont like to play vs swea... i mean "competitive" killers) you literally need to safely unhook 1 surv and heal that surv to get at least gold emblem (thats a joke)

    since there is no casual Que why devs are forcing players to play vs swea.. i mean "competitive" players

    i hate swea... "competitiveness" from both sides no variety of killers because community wants to go easy way and play only top 4 killers with green+ add ons and gens before friends survs that will just do afk do gens with 1 person on hook and other already slugged (well imagine popping gen when other survs has 3 inactive traps)

    we dont have other Que than shi... ranked which are pretty much forcing you to rank up maybe make other Que (with some restrictions) for casuals that wants to have fun without sweating or playing vs ppl that sweats (like 4 men slug on 5 gens, ruin/pop/sloppy/noed in the same build, 3 green toolboxes) just give me chill game xd

    I still think that ranks should either not be in the game, or there should be an un-ranked mode.

    I thought the whole point of the ranks was to separate more experienced players from newer players but its to easy pip. And the rules dont apply to ranks 17-20..

    It's a good start. Rank should be used for matchmaking and to be honest even if someone d/c he should pip/depip based on how well he did to stop people from deranking (I hate red ranks but I also hate people who derank to abuse lower ranks).

    However with how demented emblems are there's gonna be influx of bad players in purple or red.

    Imo ranking system should compare how well you did vs your entire team/the rank of the killer and his game progress. Looks good on paper but it's most likely also flawed idea.

    Well matches could be played regular, just allow a separate lobby. In the regulars whatever rank you are would be used for matchmaking, but there would be no emblems (as not needed to determine pips up or down). Regular matches would still qualifiy for ALL Rift challenges and player experience earned in a regular match would count towards overall player experience.

    I am sure if all you want to do is fix three generators in the same match and not depip or even pip up cause you did three, but stay the same rank when you started it would be nice.

    I personally believe the harder challenges should not be objectives in a PVP arena.
