Are consoles getting DC punishment in the new patch?

From what I know it's tied to Dedicated servers and I haven't heard anything about whether they're going to go live on console with this patch.

    I doubt it unless they put dedicated servers on console as well.

    From what they have stated they need dedicated servers to be able to accurately track the data so false punishments don't happen.

    I'm kind of wondering this myself. By the time the next chapter rolls out we will be nearing the end of fall if not the beginning of winter. Fall is the time they slated for the official roll out of dedicated servers on all platforms. Hopefully PS4 and XB1 can utilize the new DC punishments and that dedicated servers will roll out on or before the next chapter release date.

    I played a few games of swf and theres this dc bug going on rn. You get kicked out of the game. I rarely see people dc on console and if its almost every time when they enter the struggle phase

    I believe the new DC handling system will be implemented once the dedicated servers are live on the consoles, but we don't have a confirmed date when this will happen.

    I’m playing UK PS4 and see it every other game.

    Killers DC when they see a map offering or load into a map they don’t like, DC if Ruin goes down early etc.

    Survivors will DC when they hear a chainsaw, when they get caught early, when they get hit and drop a pallet, when they get downed or found in a locker, when they get hit vaulting a window etc.

    Im willing to take an occasional timeout for a rare unintended DC, to stop punish people leaving the game on a whim and ruining it for the remaining players.

    We are definitely getting DC punishments thankfully, I just hope we don’t have to wait longer for them due to dedicated servers; which unfortunately is a likely scenario.

    Im happy we are getting them either way but I really really hope it’s sooner rather than later due to how big of a problem it is.

    Sad to hear we will have to wait a bit longer but it was kind of expected as I know they were planned to be part of the dedicated servers.
