Nerf Rancor please
I am a survivor main, and think as of right now everything is balanced except for rancor. It’s hard to time when to get in a locker as soon as the last gen is about to be finished, and seems like a free kill when endgame comes along. not only does it make you able to be one downed and mori’d, but it also reveals your aura so that the killer know exactly where you are so they can come and immediately mori you. At least remove the aura. I feel like i’m stuck with this with no counter...

it reveals aura as soon as last gen is done. so the perk has become a guessing game as to when the last gen will get done (if another person is already almost done with a gen) and to be in a locker at the exact right time. i would be fine with it as long as the aura read was nerfed/deleted.

The Killer doesn't know whos aura it is though... if you still are two people, he doesn't know which one of them you are. There is enough counter play.

wait what? yes it’s useful, but it’s somewhat overpowered. it will still be viable, just not as broken without the aura reading.

i think it works as if you’re the obsession, only your aura will show when last gen is done. so the killer does know it’s you and will come to mori.

No it reveals all auras, not just yours.

The description says nothing about ONLY the Obsessions aura showing with final gen. But I've never used Rancor so I dunno.

The killer sees the location. The survivor however sees the killer's aura. Rancor can be easily countered at the end, by playing stealthy after 10 seconds. Well, unless the killer is already on your butt, then it's bye bye :P

It doesnt even shows the aura, it shows a bubble on the current location of all survivor. And it shows it just at the spot you were when a gen got popped. Tbh, i barely see a killer using it, and when i know that he has rancor i just run far awaw and then hide near a gate. And the few times i played it as killer it wasnt worth it at all. I think you just made this discussion cause you got killed by it 3 times in a short period of time and are just salty, which i can understand. After i got found by 3 michaels with tier 2 99% i hated him a long time,i even now hate him. You just overreact man.

Ok I think there is some major confusion in this thread
First Off---When a Gen turns on YOU see the Killer's Aura but the KILLER sees a Scream Location for 3 seconds.
The Killer cannot see your Aura at all unless they have another perk for that so when there are 2 people at the very end all they see is a little person screaming in the distance and they have to guess where you went after seeing it. As Killer I can say that the Locations are helpful when you can't locate someone but they are not good for tracking unless you're just running all over the place and leaving scratchies for me to see. If you hide in a locker when that last Gen procs, you are killing yourself because they know exactly where you are.
Your best bet is that once the last Gen goes off start walking in a random direction, walk for those 3 seconds and then run. If it's just you and someone else, camp the hatch and don't leave, if there are 3 other people you wait until that Exit is opened and you make damn sure you know where the Killer is before attempting to leave, hide and seek.

It just reveals noise bubbles like someone getting caught in a beartrap, madness scream, gen pop etc. ONLY the Obsession can see the killer's aura when a gen is popped, not the killer. these bubbles are not blocked by lockers or perks that hide aura since they are not.
It's a ok perk but only for really locating survivors imo.

It's really not, it has the same problem as bitter murmur and thats that a gen can be done at anytime. If gens aren't done or if you are in certain situations like carrying a survivor the perk doesn't do anything. The mori isn't really that great, it wastes a lot of time and you can equip noed and almost guarantee a kill.

You're wanting to nerf a perk that isn't even that good. You know when the last time I saw a Rancor was? A few months ago, that's how good it is.
