Is there an ETA on the Altruism Experiment compensation?
Just kinda wondering what to look out for. I've never received anything out of the norm from this game, so I don't know how BHVR goes about providing things of this nature.

I also received an email with nothing being given in Steam inventory or into my account.
I followed all the rules, and played an extra match when a killer DCed just in case.

About two weeks ago a thousand players volunteered to play DbD for like 7 hours with a strict ruleset. If we followed protocol, apparently there was a reward. We got an e-mail today saying that the rewards had been sent out.
So... Either there was a hiccup in the system and some people didn't get credited, or we were flagged as having broken protocol. Not sure which, but I really don't want to be one of the guys that corrupted the data.

It was a
n externally-sponsoredsocial experiment that DBD invited players to participate in. They were given a strict set of rules and had to follow them, playing the game either altruistically or not. It was only open to people in the US (and maybe Canada, I can't remember) on PC. Signups were a few weeks ago, the experiment was conducted last week I believe, and people were promised ingame rewards for participating if they followed all the rules correctly.EDIT: I had heard that the altruism experiment was part of a larger, external project, but it appears I was misinformed. Apologies.

I made an account just so I can jump in on this. I followed the rules to a T, I even made sure to review them before most of my matches. Got an email but I didn't get anything back.
I even emailed Rover and they didn't get back to me

It's not that we think they would leave us out to dry, but if the issue isn't addressed then the it's possible that the devs probably wouldn't know.

I emailed the Rover Team back (after opening a ticket and being told to message Rover and not DbD), unsure if it was just me (and a friend who had the same issue). Asking if I was even one of the 'qualifying participants' to earn the rewards because I, obviously as well, see nothing. Only did it tonight though so obviously no reply yet...
Glad to know that my friend and I aren't the only ones. I hope BHVR fixes it and at least tells them "Hey, don't send out an email saying they got their rewards when they obviously didn't."

That experiment was the most fun I've had on DbD in a long time. Having a reward on top is just gravy. I wonder what the values for each currency is/are/were going to be?

Its been almost 3 days now and we aren't even getting any kind of confirmation or response from Rover team. Seriously, can we please just get "we are aware of problem" rather than nothing? This silence is making me increasingly frustrated.

Rover Team of BHvR ran a Altruism Experiment
There was 1,000 participants and the reward for participating was a portion of Blood-points and Shards. Rover team emailed participants that rewards would be received between the 18th to the 22nd. On the 22nd Rover team sent out an email stating rewards had been delivered but very quickly participants noticed nobody got rewarded. And now its 3 days later.

I was in the first one (if you don’t count the one that was cancelled).
To my friends in the experiment, I got 425,000 BP and 3-4K thousand shards as reward for participating in said experiment. That should give you a rough idea, however, I don’t know how long the experiment was held for, and other factors— but I’d expect that amount.

I just logged on & had 6k more shards & 350k BP in my account. I guess that's the baseline? They sent out another e-mail saying that it's fixed.

After reloading the game I got 6 000 shards and 350 000 BP. That altruistic role sucked to play and the ROI does not make it better.
