Legion Player's perspective on Nemisis
Lol what? Did nobody consider this would bring back the old broken legion? I only realized it today after reading the perk and then seeing it get used. How will this one be fixed i wonder. Change the perk, nerf legion again, actually rework their power or some other option i cant think of right now that isnt do nothing. Not sure but i'm ready to see this play out because its gonna be a big shitstorm of rage.

as ive stated only brings back old legion if you stun him and its for like 40 seconds bop is way worse.

thats true but i can easily just let myself get stunned if the payout is that huge and if they dont drop the pallet i get a hit or down and if they drop it early its just wasting a pallet to get a little distance but it'll really depend on the part of the map and the situation. Though right now seems like its not going to be good for survivors

bops getting fixed and nemesis is gonna be niche because not everyones gonna use it because other killers have better ways of downing people legion youd have to level oni (or get it in the shrine) to make him niche at best.

Dropping a pallet early pretty much waste about 5 seconds or so of potential looping time while it can add up it's not exactly game breaking

I hope they keep it, stun me, I use my power and then they go down 30 seconds later, much less if I'm running the Frank combo. This is the same thing with the new Beast of Prey, I was annoyed they overlooked Legion this hard but maybe this was on purpose and these were intentional so Legion players can actually be this weird threat that they used to be.
I think that would be really stupid though, just buff Legion for real yo, don't do something weird; don't sell us perks so a different Killer can be strong.

At this point I feel the only option for Legion is a complete rework. They are either broken and unfun for survivors to go against, or weak as hell and unfun for the killer to play as. Old Legion was broken, and now Legion has no slowdown potential, which was the entire point of their power now that Deep Wounds are getting nerfed. Devs flat out can't win with Legion outside of a total rework.

Drop pallet few seconds earlier for not stun Legion - problem solved = Legion wasted slot on dead perk. Stop cry about Nemesis if you can't "play better".
And Legion will waste too much time for chasing one man with all of this "nemesis" "stun" "moonwalk to death" things, few gens will be gone.

Not sure why you're being rude about it and saying I'm crying about it I haven't played against this at all 😂 and I don't know if you know but most survivors aren't going to be that smart to think to drop it ahead of time. I don't think this is gonna be a light issue because plenty of areas I can get stunned and still catch a survivor. But will be testing for myself when it comes out.

I love em so I still play em. Usually double pop each game because of sheer amount of hits but they aren't always fun to play and its frustrating. Especially now since I can't use third seal anymore. One less build that isn't just slow everything.

It depends pallet wasters as I like to call them. ( this ranges from people who camp the pallet and don't loop or people who dropped every single pallet they come across early)
These types of people can typically be a Killers best friend or worst enemy.
It all depends on how quickly their team are working on gens one thing people tend to forget is that you can't really mind game a pallet waster. So if their teammates are powering through gen effectively you always waste a lot of time just breaking pallets.
And yes there are less pallets later on but that doesn't really matter when the exit gates are powered

What i do is leave them after the third pallet or the moment i see a new survivor. 3 pallets in like 30 seconds is worth the value. And generally I'd have hit them once by then so sloppy would be hurting them.

Legion fundamentally is a failure of design. Let's hope with this new perk and the return of old legion, they'll maybe give him a power that isn't just applying Borrowed Time to survivors.

Wait, they're changing it? It was helpful before, but basically only good for farming BPs. With undetectable it functions as a counter to borrowed time and a couple of other things.
I don't see what's wrong with it; the killer has to gamble a bit to keep bloodlust up because bloodlust is so easily broken. If he hits someone, breaks a pallet or loses sight for 5 seconds, it ends, and takes another 15 seconds to get it back.
On the other hand, borrowed time has no cooldowns and can be used multiple times on the same survivors. Usually, if everyone has borrowed time, and no one has been hooked yet, competent survivors can easily escape by alternating who gets hooked, and slowly migrating toward hooks closer to the exit, until they finally exit.

Old legion had a lot of bugs that people exploited. When played without exploiting the ######### out bugs, they were just average. Had Legion gotten timely bug fixes rather than waiting till absolutely everyone was up in arms and screaming nerf them we Legion players probably wouldn't have the world's most gutted killer. It's like there is a disconnect between dealing with the actual issues versus just messing with everything all at once.
