Tome III... keep this in mind
I looked at the challenges first thing this morning. I immediately saw to break 40 pallets/gens. I thought “omfg, ######### are these challenges.” I did a build to get that challenge done immediately. Than I move on and I trapped my 5 survivors in a single match as trapper. I did 3 games of survivor to get my 25 saves. It’s not that bad, but the amount of time some of these challenges will take is a little extensive and frightening. However, friends of the fog I promise you’ll make it through tome 3. I definitely think some of these need to be dialed back by difficulty in the future with some challenges even being made harder to complete (Tome I challenges as an example). Devs, if you think it’s the right thing to do, I hope some changes can be made by Tome IV.

I thought they looked very time consuming, and it is impossible for you to get 25 saves in 3 games.

I was really disappointed how easy all the first challenges were because I basically never had to focus on getting the challenge the just happened naturally while playing the game which I don't think a challenge should do. I'm used to trophy hunting in my games so I'm so glad to have challenges that give me that same level of needing to focus and work for them. Some people want challenges to be handed to them in one try

He unhooked himself twice duh.
Really though, my problem with going down the survivor path is the 2nd challenge is the unhook during egc.

No it was 3 games. that’s point though, I got it in 3 games. I think the challenge is broken because I got progress with unsafe unhooks too

thats the point, idk how I got the challenge anyways. It even gave me progress for unsafe unhooks. After my 1st game it said I had 7 unhooks

I did the "break 40 pallets/gens" one in two matches (would've been one match, but I got Badham the first time around and the survivors made it worse by DC'ing and suiciding on me) by running Pig with Overcharge, Surveillance, Discordance, and Brutal Strength. I didn't farm, and I did use her RBTs and hook people, but I played very nice and the only survivor I killed on purpose was in the second match, and that's because she broke a hook in my face.
I did the Trapper one by farming. It was hilarious watching the survivors basically fight over who got to step in my trap first.
I was originally trying to work on the "unhook 25 survivors" one, but survivors kept suiciding and DCing, and I can't exactly do anything about that, so I switched to killer challenges.
I'm fine with most challenges. The "safely rescue 2 hooked survivors during the EGC in one trial" is the one that ticks me off. My matches as solo survivor hardly ever reach EGC, and if they do there's rarely a hook save because either they're dead on hook or everyone's immediately out the door before the killer can get a hook. This is basically going to be like trying to catch a unicorn. The community was pretty much in agreement (a super rare thing to happen) that this challenge shouldn't go live, but here it is.
It is also frustrating that the rewards for the challenges are not scaling with difficulty and time required.

Seems to be part of BHVR's plan to push everyone into SWF so they don't have to balance for solos.
