Farm games
Stop, I am looking to play a game, sometimes I get the time for a game before I need to leave and decide to be survivor, but then someone decides to not play and farm with survivors, stop, please make this something one can be banned for, It's extremely irritating and completely ruins the game anyone that enjoys it, why? Are you trash? Do you not enjoy the game itself? I don't get it, screw farm games and every killer that does it

Even though the devs say they discourage farming, some of The Archive challenges basically encourage farming in order to complete them. Farming's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It's a shame that, but I've gotten toxic messages cause I didn't let the killer get the 4th hook needed, seriously, #########? Not just from killer either, survivors backed the trash killer

I'm not gonna send someone toxic messages over it, but the sooner the killers get this nonsense out of the way, the sooner they can go back to playing normally, which is better for everyone. The longer it takes, the more farming games everyone's going to have to endure.
Though, some players just farm for the hell of it or to get a breather from the stress/frustration of playing to win. Sometimes people just wanna take a break and goof off.

I get the last bit, but, go to a different game? If it was a solo game then all's fair but it's not, you are affecting other people that wants to play, do whatever to try to win yeah, both sides should do that but farming? No, these games I try to rush as much as I can (which leads to hate messages lol) cause I don't want to lose my toolbox and I don't want to stay in that kind of game

Some people like to farm and find it fun ^^
If you find yourself in a farm match point at a hook until the killer gets what you are asking for. If not, just complete 5 gens and escape.

I think this is a good time to farm outside events. So just have fun while it last.

That's what I do, 5 gens (not letting the kill happen, they aren't getting no challenge done on my watch, they gotta earn it) then leave, I wouldn't make this post of it was once in a while but I've had 5 games in a row of it, that's my problem, 3 of them both survivors and killer sent horrible messages to me cause I ruined the challenge

Well that is wrong of them. Sorry people are giving you a hard time. If you don't want to farm that is your choice and they should respect it. Maybe best to turn your messages of for awhile?
Plus farming for challenges takes the fun out them (imo).

As killer if I have interest in farming (bp, trophies, challenges, etc) I send a prematch message asking "farm or regular"? If they pick one I go with what they say. If they ignore me I just play regular.

seems like you have more of an issue with them getting challenges done than about the quality of the round...

That then ain't an issue, easier on pc as console not everyone can get messages (privacy settings)

It's too much, double BP if messages sent to ask I'll happily say yeah, take advantage of it, unless I need to go somewhere and it was for a average game, otherwise I won't cause, there isn't any real advantage to it

That is a minor issue for me, it's the messages I get mostly over, I have an issue with farming in general, double BP is an exception but only if all agrees

On PC, you gotta add them as a friend before sending a message. I've had SOME luck being able to enter some streamers chats if I see TTV. I use to have fun with that and would message them "BPS or mori" instead of "farm or regular", just to see the look of confusion followed by a panicked "BLOODY PARTY STREAMERS!!"

Firstly, not a try hard, just want to play the game the way it's intended to be played hence why I got the game, the issue mainly is that I get 5 games in a row of these people trying to farm for every game I manage to finally play
Secondly, I am competitive, that's the idea of the game, I just don't try too hard until I realise the killer is very good or the survivors are very clever, then I go full competition mode, cause I do want to win still, again, that's the idea of the game
Thirdly, I assume you were defending farming so, stop, please, I want to actually play a game, if I wanted to farm I'd play farming simulator or Warframe

Your good. I feel like if there WAS a lobby chat between killer and survivor, it would be alot of the same abusive chat we already see in postgame chats. Would still be cool though to be able to tell the other side "Ill pop a BPS if you do..." so I'm conflicted.

Get the devs to stop making challenges that demand farming. Of course excessive amounts of actions in extended challenges and luck based master challenges are going to encourage farming. I called this before the first tome came out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Challenges that encourage farming. I haven't unlocked the third tier of the Tome yet but I don't understand how that is even a thing. Why on earth would you encourage farming and toxic gameplay with your challenges? It's like whoever made these challenges is quite out of touch with this game.

I don't believe for a minute you got 5 farming killers in a row. Because I never, ever, ever get a farming killer. I believe you got one and are salty af about it because you're a sweaty tryhard.

I wish I was joking but I'm really not, ever since these challenges came out it's been insane, once in a while didn't bother me, I'd rush as many gens as I can or insta kill myself if hooked as quickly as I can, but now it's this insane, it's just too much, and I'm fed up with it, I don't care if you still don't believe me, that's not my problem, my problem is the fact it did, I completely disagree with people farming games, with the only exception of double BP events, but even then I'm not trying for it and I will play killer on that as I am much better as killer but enjoy survivor more, so my games aren't farmed during double BP, otherwise I'd see every game like that sort of like now, it's the damn tomes that's done it, and again I'm no try hard, I've explained my side now if you still don't believe well then you must have tons of luck to not get these games and we need to trade that luck

When the devs would decide to stop designing challenges that can only be realistically be obtained in farming matches, then i maybe would stop go for farming matches now and then.

no player, who farm or not is not garbage, I farm when I want to make a trophy or a difficult challenge, everyone can play as they want, it can not be prohibited because they are not doing something bad, and if you do not like it what costs you Do gens and get out of there?

I just want to play the game, as I said, once here and there isn't a major bother, just don't like it, but I've had 5 in a row so much right now that it's an issue now, it has ruined the game for myself and I'm sure a few others, who/what do I blame? Tome, mostly, and trash killer/survivors that can't achieve it on their own, I'm near done with level 3 and I've not attempted to farm any of them, I know some of them was done due to these people and it just makes games a bore and just pointless, what tops it is the toxic "why didn't you do this?" "why didn't do that?" "Why you hooking me 3 times?" (Last was a actual quote, #########?) So I have a very strong view on farming, it's annoying, I may as well go on Warframe or farming simulator, at least farming is fun there

Farming only exists when the killer needs to benefit from something they can't through normal gameplay. The reason you're seeing so many farmers is due to the difficulty of the archives. It's kinda pathetic that out of all the bull that exists in this game, you're complaining about farming.

How? Is it via some console chat? On PC u can't communicate with survs pre-game.
