Looking For Advice From The Switch Community

A few months back my PC broke, so while I have been saving to buy a new one, I have been back playing my Switch. I remembered that DbD was recently released on the Switch and was planing on grabbing a copy but after hearing a lot of mixed opinions on the port, I figured I'd jump on the forums first and ask you guys (the players) directly how it's been? Looking for info such as is it really as unplayable as some people have claimed? Should I wait a little longer until some more patches are released? How have lobby times been, etc,.

Again, I am a long time player of the game with just under 1k hours on my steam account so I am very familiar with the gameplay aspects of DbD, I am more so wondering how it runs?

Cheers guys!

I enjoy playing on the switch. I have only three small complaints. The first is I can't play killer in handheld mode; the screen is too small and I miss stuff (this is a personal problem not one with the game itself). The second is the controls are a bit tough to get used too. And the third is the player base is small. Lobby times are never more than 5 min (North America) but I see a lot of the same people.

Thanks bro, I appreciate the info!

I read that apparently playing docked results in bad micro stuttering so I imagine I will play on handheld the majority of the time. Yeah I can imagine controls for killer will be extra hard to get used to, especially nurse! ^^

The small player base is a bit of a worry but then again the game is still only new (ish) to Switch so hopefully that will grow some more.

No problem. I have had no issues with docked mode but I can't speak for others.
