Abit of hypocrisy but...
When Im killer:
Survivors pressing crouch is BMing, stop pointing at me already...
When Im survivor:

Honestly I don't mind the occasional BM I just feel like a lot of people need to realise that it might be ok to push buttons but if you're going to push someone's buttons and you end up annoying them to your detriment you really have no one to blame other than yourself.
Basically survivors if you're going to be bm the killer and they end up getting irritated so camp or tunnel you for it yeah it's probably your own fault.
Killers if you choose to be cocky and decide to BM a survivor and that ends up getting you screwed over because of a flashlight save, pallets stun or decisive strike you deserve a full hearty butt dance
But no matter what happens in a game as long as you don't personally attack a person that's all good.

Not too long ago, I let the last survivor crawl to the hatch, only to close it in their face... My reward... An adrenaline, followed by a key escape, lol

#karma :P

I BM a little bit, more so in swf to my friends for fun and giggles. :P

What if I was spying? 🤔

only time ill bm is if the killer is being absurdly toxic to me/a teammate for no reason

most of the time I bm when I know death is near why not go out in a blaze of glory

Was watching some youtube vids earlier about Hackers on DBD teleporting around, or speed hacking or teleporting ppl to them, ect. Was just thinking... If Id hack anything, it would be a little victory dance when I hit 3 instead of just the normal emotes for 1 and 2.

I had a similar situation.
A downed a Nea relatively close to the Hatch she was really overzealous about completing the last generator in my face so I assumed that she had adrenaline
so I shook my head at her and picked her up even the hatch open no adrenaline key escape for her then proceeded to start nodding as I was taking her to a hook however in my stupidity and because I was nodding so much I didn't know that I was stepping right on my trap.
Unsurprisingly the Nea ran to hatch stood on top of it and made sure I got the full butt dance experience.
I literally had to hit her down so she would jump through it.
It's safe to say that I complete leave deserved it.
Or the time I was butt dancing a Freddy at exit Gate who got completely gen rushed and in my stupidity I didn't realise that he had taken the time to to sandwich himself between me and the actual exit I got hooked and repeatedly for it.

It's sad to see how some people think bm'ing is something you do just in good fun.

Lol

Just sounds like we’re admitting that we aren’t perfect.
2 -
I hate to ask, and I’m sure I’ll regret it, but what does BM stand for?
0 -
Bad move
1 -
Hang on, I thought it was Bad Manners?
3 -
oh wait, you’re correct.
2 -
Oh good! Either way, that’s a lot more PG than I was expecting!

I dont mind teabaggers, but it is funny when they dont even have the gameplay to back it up... Teabagging, wanting to be chased and down in 10 seconds.
1 -
Can you elaborate on that?
0 -
If we’re admitting that we bm sometimes then we’re admitting that our manners aren’t perfect.
1 -
Or they chase you all game while you chase others.😂
1 -
Meh I don't really BM unless the player did something to deserve it. What's the point of trying to annoy someone for no reason?
2 -
I don't know if it's me, but whenever I touch a flashlight, I have to click it 5 or 10 times in the air. 😁🤗
It's like the toxicity on that flashlight controls me! :(
0 -
*laughs in Nea main* let the flashlight consume you. >:)
1 -
It's just so fun to click a flashlight at something. 😂

Yes it is 😂

I used to get annoyed at surv t-bagging after a pallet stun, now I find it funny as hell, sure you stand there and waste all that time you gained from the stun.
I also find it funny to tunnel and camp the guy who t-bags every single vault/stun because they get so damn salty over it.

Typically I'll do a little "victory dance" at the exit gates, similar to how football players might do one after a touchdown. Its more for me than it is to rub it in the face of others. After a super close chase where I JUST get to the exit gates as my teammate is opening it, or vice versa as opening it... behind my desk I take the time for a...

Most of the time when I get a pallet stun on a killer that tries to mindgame me (walking backwards to hide stain, pig dash, Wraith windstorm, spirit phasing especially) I point and shake my head and say something like "No. You thought."
I don't see it as bm'ing and if anything it's a waste of my own time so I see no reason why it shouldn't be okay.
1 -
Same lol. If the killer is about to down and hook me for the third time I do a couple quick tbags right before he hits me.
0 -
No, I get what they mean. Theres a place for BM. When someone taunts you, over and over, but you manage to end them 1v1, you get a little bm. A teabag or a /joke.
BMing just for the sake of spamming it and infuriating someone else says you're an immature child, who cant enjoy the game, but enjoys simply irritating other human beings that ARE enjoying the game.
Theres a fundamental difference between BMing, and BMing just for fun.
1 -
I sometimes BM to get chased by the killer. Only if I know I'll last longer than my teammates though
0 -
Also I'd like to point out that I, and plenty of others, tbag for many reasons besides BMing..
- to say thank you when a killer let's you go
- to say thank you after a survivor heals you
- to say sorry after you miss a skillcheck
- to say hello at the beginning of the match when you first see another survivor
- to say hook me to the killer when you're farming
I'm not saying people who incessantly spam tbagging, emotes and clicking just to be a dick don't exist. But there are plenty of times I tbag that I'm not trying to upset anyone, even if I do it to the killer. It might be hard to differentiate between the two sometimes, but if you start getting worked up at every single instance of tbagging, clicking or emoting then it might be time to take a deep breath.

I typically point to a hook when trying to get them to hook me. I know many people use t bagging to convey many meanings, but I still get nervous i'll be misinterpreted when im thanking a killer for letting me go that they'll think im being rude and smack me down to hook me.
1 -
That actually works? If i see a surv t-bagging clicking in from 10 feet away it's really ######### obvious they want me to chase them, so I instantly think "what are they trying to distract me from". Many a survivor has caused a team mate i had no idea was there (such as in the cab near me, or crouched in a corner behind me) to get caught because they are so damn obvious.
0 -
Sometimes, if it doesn't I just go do a gen. I also hover around green ranks because I'm not amazing at survivor. It really depends on the killer though.
If I'm playing killer, I'll chase them a bit to see what they're like. They don't always have the skill to back up the BM's
0 -
I wouldn't consider head shaking bm'ing either.
0 -
I know right
0 -
if I'm at the last hook and the killer has a 1 shot ability or perk activated at the moment I just give up and crouch in front of them looking at them, Same thing if I'm injured and the killer is gonna catch me with no pallets I just sit there like just end it lol
when I'm killer if I see someone who's actually been playing fairly and not toxic and that situation comes up I just let them off and search for someone else lol

Every claudette ever

I only bm for jokes or for strategic reasons, like getting the killer on me when a teammate on death hook is near.
0 -
Sometimes it blatantly is, though.
0 -
I don’t BM unless the other side BM’s first. If a killer shakes their head at me and I DS them and run to the exit gate, of course I’ll teabag, point, shake my head, and flashlight click.
If a survivor teabags me and gets downed of course I’ll shake my head, hit them on the hook, and tunnel them followed by a mori spam if I have a mori (rarely do I use moris).
That just the way the cookie crumbles in an online game. Don’t take it too much to heart if the opposing side BM’s you. It makes you feel no guilt when you outplay them and win the game.
