there is no hard limit, had some red ranks and one purple rank VS A RANK 17 THE OTHER DAY. he was so new he got 2 down in killer shack, he picks one up for me to flashlight save, runs people around to get them away then he picks up the other person facing towards the killer shack window and I get a 2nd one in a row. this is during the EGC BTW. everyone escaped. but I felt so bad after seeing his rank

I’ve started taking screenshot of these amazing matchmaking, then I got bored since there were too many.
The general excuse they would tell you is that the team was a full rank 5 who popped in the match.

rank 5 one pip away from rank 4 actually does appear as a rank 4,same with rank 2 one pip away from rank 1 i didn't know if it was client sided or could others see it aswell tho,probably client sided but ur correct in that probably that there is no hard cap as they said

You have to wonder how many players the game loses because their first few matches are so inbalanced, i know two of my friends quit because in the first 5 matches we got matched against purple killers. and then one of the gave killer a go and got a full team of purples again, neither have played a game since.
