Can you save current tome challenges for the next rift?

I'm reaching Tier 70 on my rift very soon and I've still yet to complete all the challenges in Level 3 of Tome 1. There's also Level 4 coming up so I was wondering if I can actually stave off doing these challenges so I can put the rift fragments to use next rift rather than putting them into an already completed rift this season.

EDIT: Thank you for all the replies so quickly! I'm saddened that all these challenges will be just bloodpoints but I suppose that's still a benefit.

no all rift frangmenst will go away with end of the rift

edit: but challenges will stay forever they only will not give any rift fragments

Unfortunately not. The Tome and the Rift are tied together in that regard. Rift Fragments earned from doing Tome challenges can only be used to progress in the associated Rift.

When the Rift expires, all the challenges in the Tome will remain open and completable, and you will still be able to earn rewards from them (bloodpoints, lore fragments, level completion charms) with the exception of Rift Fragments, which you will no longer be able to earn by any means once the Rift closes.

When a new Rift opens, you will be able to earn Rift Fragments once again through XP, and also through completing challenges in the Tome that will be released alongside that Rift.

Additionally, once you complete the current Rift, even if the Rift is still open, you won't be able to earn additional Rift Fragments through completing the challenges in the current Tome.

No. Only the most recent Tome awards Rift fragments. You can do them later if you'd like, but you'll only get the bloodpoints and lore. This way everyone's on a level playing field going into each Rift.

Damn, didn't know the challenges would stay forever!!! Finished the rift a week ago so I just do the challenges for bloodpoints and lore. Thought they would go away after rift closed and the lore would stay incomplete. Really thought the lore from challenges would be something like the legacy skins or something. Good to know it isn't.

Grinded so much this weekend to finish them and make sure I only needed to concentrate on the next one when it arrives! But to be fair, I also wanted to save up bloodpoints for Yui so I don't regret it, but next one I will chill a bit more then!
