Oni is really hard to control on Console
Once you use Demon Dash you cannot do any follow up Demon Strike in any other direction other than the one you are facing.
The bobble effect during Demon dash makes it even worse and it's really tough to turn towards your intended direction with the Demon Dash.
I feel like the killers who have the negative effects of reducing control whilst doing certain actions hits the console players far harder because of the lack of sensitivity options on Console.
Another reason why Demogorgan was a poorly performing killer too on the recent stats. His shred was far more punishing for Console players.
Will the Devs address the difference in controls between PC and Console by making tweaks to help Console players have the ability to play Oni just like PC players can?

this is why i regret buying demogorgon shred is genuinely hard to use with console controls

He is hard to control on PC too, I can't hit anything with him.
2 -
I believe they toned down his "flick".
3 -
Surely to have a sensitivity setting comparable to what PC players have would benefit Console players.
It is my first game as him but it feels plainly obvious that the Oni is needlessly very tough to control.
I'll keep trying to see if there's something I'm not getting.

Stop posting stuff like this. You're making my argument that PC players are no better than us seem invalid. Screw a mouse!

Pc players are better because they have better tools to their disposal.
If Console players all went over to OC and they go used to how it worked then they would be better too, because of how much more polished and advanced everything is there.
Just like if a PC player played on Console they would have to get used to it before being at their best.

Every Oni I've gone against today has gotten crap for points. They are not doing well, and it makes him quite boring to go up against. (PS4)

I haven’t found it hard to control on Xbox. You can turn corners and stuff easily.

I don't find shred hard to use at all on PS4. I'm on a trip so I don't have any experiance with Oni.

That's what I was saying in my post too.
Oni is just the new console Nurse.
1 -
It's not that they're better. It's that the devs won't give console players sensitivity options for whatever reason. It's a simple fix, really.

I agree. It makes me want to play any other killer because they do their powers more efficiently.

Is Billy hard on consoles too? I would've thought Oni would be similar to Billy when using his power but I don't know if Billy is hard to control on consoles either.

Nah billy is very playable on console, only characters that need precise movement suffer such as Nurse, Oni and a lot of people say that legion is hard to hit when in frenzy but I don't have that problem with legion.

Billy is easy to control. Well much easier than the oni.

They do NOT have better tools. They have a mouse and that's it. The keyboard sucks for movement and is only useful for MMOs or other games where you gotta have a crap ton of keys binded. I use to be a PC only player but it's just far more convenient to have a console.
Yea it's strange they wouldn't have that. I wasn't even aware it wasn't there cause I never touch it unless it's an FPS.

PC have a far superior set up than Console in pretty much every way. Just plain facts, you buy a Xbox one and you get what an Xbox one gets you.

He isn't that hard to control. You can strafe left and right with the left analog stick while combining the raw turning of the right. Only problem I have is the lunge which is really weird. Feels way shorter than it should be. Wish he had a smaller terror radius or something since he's just an m1 killer until he gets a hit.

Just tried playing him for the first time for a few games and yeah, he's pretty damn hard to control. It almost feels like it's just better to just demon dash to them and then "M1" rather than use the demon strike. (Ps4)
2 -
That's the main reason I have not purchased him yet. he doesnt seem fun to play as .

So as someone who has played Oni on both console and PC, I can tell you that Oni on console actually feels nicer to control with a controller when it comes to the demon dash specifically. Demon strike for sure feels choppy on console but the demon dash is super smooth to control. The flick when coming out of demon dash Is implemented on all version of Oni, weather it’s console or PC so there really shouldn’t be much problem for console players to do good with him.

Glad I am not the only one who isn't a master of Oni.
I find his club attack tricky and haven't done the 70 downs trophy.
He isn't one of my faves.

I dont have a problem with Oni on console. I think you just need some practice with him, just know that when you go for the swing, your turn is sharp like Billy's

is too easy man .-.

Pfft, noobs still complaining about Oni on console. Practice and get better at him or play a brainlet killer like Freddy.
