maps suck a lot more than you're making it seem

Skeleton/dull key are both MUCH more powerful than a flashlight nowadays. You just need the right addons for them.

I prefer running green flashlights than purple flashlights cause of the better accuracy/less shakiness.

Skeleton and Dull keys are effectively the same. Their strength comes from the fact they open the hatch, not from the aura reads. They are both S tier.

Commodious is the best toolbox in the game and incredibly strong. A tier.

Green medkit is A tier and the best medkit now that it heals you so fast. Purple medkit is right behind it because it also heals you fast (just not as fast) and has more charges. Really these two are about equal, but I put the green ahead because healing speed is better than extra charges when you factor in add-ons.

Yellow and white medkits are also about equal. They are notably weaker than the other medkits, but still very useful. B tier.

Purple and green flashlights are useful but considering how easy it is to avoid flashlights they aren't really that great. They are here more because of the threat they pose to killer and less because of their actual strength. B tier.

Yellow toolbox is the next best one because it has the best speed to charge ratio. C tier.

Yellow flashlight is notably weaker than the other two, but still a useful item. C tier.

Purple and mechanic's toolbox are strong but due to only being able to repair a single gen puts them below the other toolboxes. Purple is definitely superior because of speed, but it's not by much. You could argue that they are better than Commodious base when you give them charge add-ons, but then Commodious with speed add-ons is WAY better.

Brown toolbox is useful but only on a single gen and only as a means to counter low level debuffs. D tier.

Rainbow map's main use it to destroy totems. Outside of this purpose it is really kind of useless. Maybe also to track the hatch, but it's not a very good item. D tier.

Alex's toolbox has a very low repair buff, and it's sole purpose is for sabo which is weak anyway. D tier.

Green map is worthless on it's own. It only becomes useful with add-ons (specifically Red Twine to track totems). Using it to track gens is not very useful because it's not hard to find gens. Only time this would be useful for a top tier survivor is on Lery's, and even then not so much. F tier.

Green key is literally useless without add-ons. Worst item in the game by far.

Green Flashlight has built in injured accuracy. It also logically makes no sense how the yellow is better than the green since the green has a useful side effect unlike the yellow flashlight which has none.

Green Key is legit F tier if you get it in a chest. It should honestly have a troll face in the background instead of the green rarity colour.
