Can you just do us all a favour and stop? We get it, this game has two sides, there's going to be competition. Play each others sides, listen to each other, and please just be generally respectful.

The last thing we need is more and more to divide this community, its already split enough, and all that happens by labeling people "toxic survivor main" or "baby killer main" just drives this divide further.

I'm so sick and tired of seeing people label each other because they think one certain thing, or because they disagree with their opinion so they must be a tbagging toxic survivor or a mori-spamming Forever-freddy-loving killer. Can we just stop, chill, take a break, and please just listen to each other for once? Whichever role you play doesn't make your opinions invalid because, guess what, there are two sides to this game and without one it'll die. The devs only listening to survivors will cause all killers to leave, and vice-versa, so please,

Just stop.

One side is always upset or irritated by one thing or another. Nurse nerf and Balanced Landing nerf are definitely recent examples. While I do understand why both needed nerfs.

Nurse was really a down played rework and was a bit scummy in nature. Fundamentally she is the same, but realistically she is a lot worse than she used to be. In a game of time management with a killer who is naturally slower the recharge and fatigue is back breaking.

Balanced Landing was nerfed due to the abuse it held by a group of toxic players, but it is a symptom of a much worse problem. Poor map design. While it makes sense why they nerfed BL because no other Exhaustion perk can do stuff post during the exhausted state. This does not actually fix the root issue of bad map design where it could be abused.

At the end of the day both needed reworks, but both got a messed up solution because it's easier to throw a bandaid on instead of solve the core issue. While both sides continue to fight one another over issues instead of come together to force the Dev's to fix real issues.

Last time the community on both sides felt Spirit was overpowered on certain things. They attempted to fix some issues and still didnt directly deal with the real issues which was a lack of responsive feed back on the survivors side.

Devs wouldn't listen anyways. How long have people wanted a legion buff, so they nerf him even more?

Devs care about one thing, the bottom line, and as such they rarely ever listen too the community.

I'll have you know that this game is balanced against the side I play on. I mean we all suffered nerfs and all that and the devs address the glitches and bugs that help my side and hurt the other side first, and it's unfair.

Yeah, in the past couple of days I've been accused of both "only playing killer" and being "an entitled killer main," as well as "only wanting to remove everything that's fun for killer players."

You can't have an opinion without someone taking personal offence to it, and suddenly you're Satan and out to ruin their game.

What a surprise, some people play both sides and want things to be balanced rather than just wanting to play nothing but the most overpowered killer that removes the other team's input and skill as a factor, or wanting free escapes as survivors.

They will if an entire community suddenly starts banding together in outrage. I mean legitimately band together in unison.

Honestly at this point I just want Legion to lose X% duration on a missed FF attack not his power.

I feel a core problem is that a surprising amount of people seem to have convinced themselves that balancing works like a zero-sum game.

People genuinely act like you have to take 2 BalanceTokens from side A and give them to side B to buff them. Just look at the almost automated whataboutism that arrives in threads about certain subjects very quickly. Moris and keys, gen speeds and tunneling. People act like it's impossible to discuss something without going "BUT WHAT ABOUT..." or "DON'T TOUCH X BEFORE YOU TOUCH Y, OR ELSE!" and it derails and makes threads constant repeats.

But honestly I wish posts that genuinely try to use "lol ur a <role> main" as an actual arguement should just be instantly classified as shitposting or trolling. Absolutely worthless garbage posts.

If you main one side exclusively, then your opinion is automatically invalid to me.

That's actually much more accurate to what it should be, shame that 99% of the community (at least on these forums) don't think like this.

Honestly me too, it brings nothing to the argument and just makes the whole discussion flop after that.

It's funny how you bring up a mori change and everyone says entitled survivor main, you bring up a key change and everyone calls you an entitled killer main; like can we not all get on and agree both sides have issues?

Spirit profile picture automatically makes your opinion on balance invalid REEEEEEEEEEE

I only play survivor, mainly because I prefer team play and there's no Dedicated Servers on PS4 so I don't trust my Internet to handle hosting killer. There is a thing called Empathy and being able to understand the other side of the argument, which apparently a lot of people have no understanding of 🙄

So in conclusion, I easily understand both sides despite only playing survivor, shocking isn't it?

You kind of sound like the people you are accusing of being biased hmm hypocrisy at its best 🤣🤔

PS. Loads of sarcasm included, no real harm intended

Problem with the community though is if you disagree with the topic or what a person said they accuse you of being a X Main and your opinions are invalid because it is not similar to whatever they were thinking.

I was recently told "Yeah right, you're a survivor main? Nice bait!" and "What would you know, you play survivor" both in the same day by different people. The first because I dared to suggest that killers had as much right to a victory as survivors do, and the second because I said that many people enjoy playing killer.

Make up your minds, people! Am I a toxic survivor main or not? I'm on the verge of an identity crisis here.

Yeah the Us Vs Them mentality is extremely tiresome to see. Half the time I see a complaint referring to players it's either "survivors" or "killers" as if when you pick one side you never switch roles. A good example is people complaining about players exploiting the basement bug as if it's only killer players and not just repeat offenders who do the same thing without bias on both roles when ever an exploit is available. It's actually infuriating.

Also when I say exploiting I'm just referring to those knowingly taking advantage of it just to win games and not even for the archives.

Well, but one side don't show a want for balance in this game but instead want easy wins. I wish it were not the case and the game could be made into something fun, but those people just ruin it. They're the same ones that loved to abuse certain things before that got changed.

I play both sides and its infuriating to see this behavior on each side. I just want each killer to be viable at higher ranks... but then I see what Oni's like on console and it just reminds me what side they're more likely to listen to... : /

Ultimately, I'm more sympathetic to killer players, but I see where both ''sides'' are on issues. I may have an opinion about them... but that's what discussion's for.

Fun fact, the reason Oni is so much worse on console is due to poor optimisation and the existence of a controller preventing the nice easy flick. It has literally nothing to do with survivors wanting easy games and oni being nerfed; it's like Nurse all over again.

"One side don't show a want for balance"/"I know what side they're more likely to listen to" you've literally just admitted that you're more biased towards killers ("I'm more sympathetic to killer players")?

I never said that he was nerfed. I was pointing out how bad he is.

Two, I am. But I can understand both sides. However, just because I'm more killer sided doesn't mean I won't support survivor buffs if they're warranted. Right now? They're not. If anything, some survivor perks either need nerfs, or others need buffs to compete. I like what they did with Kindred, for instance.

I agree wit ya. I havent ever seen a community that is so toxic. But to be honest with ya. This wont stop. What happen when gamers can get to gather and help each other out and be good sports about it. But now they just act like cats and dogs fighting each other.
