Whats up with all the DCing lately?
I havent been able to play a single match of killer today without at least 2 DC's... Am I missing something here?

People are getting in their last DCs before the punishments begin.

I've noticed this tonight, but it's the killers disconnecting for me. As soon as the last gen pops or an exit gate is open, they will DC. And not just quit the match, I'm talking closing down the application and making everyone else not gain anything from the game. PS4.

The d/c will continue, even after 'time outs' are implemented, the underlying issues aren't being addressed at all.

I'm not dc'ing? sometimes my trashy Wi-Fi is lagging me out of the match or the servers are bugged and people would say their reporting me for dc'ing??

I've had three dc today. One killer, two survivor. The killer was fine, because it happened within two minutes of the match start. Was an Oni. I didn't see it, but in post game lobby, survivor told me they looped him.
The first survivor dc was just. . . stupid. Was against Trapper. Again, first two minutes in. They hid behind a wall. Not well, seeing as Trapper found them. They then ran into a wall, Trapper caught them, downed, dc. Second was my last match against Bubba. This was dumb as well. Ten minutes in, four gens done, he's down to his last hook. Misses a pallet, gets downed, dcs. That was at least 15k points down the drain. smh
As stated, they need to get their last rage quit ability used up.

I have noticed the Dcing has gotten much worse since the rift challenges started. People have all these challenges that have to be done in a single match.
If something happens that prevents them from completing the single match challenge they're working to complete they just quit and start a new game to try again.
The rift challenges have made playing awful recently. Single match challenges are the single worst idea I've seen implemented into this game in the whole time I've been playing it.

Well, what I saw last night was mostly "Oh, I got hooked first? I'll just try to Kobe, and then not struggle."
In fact, in three of my killer games I ended up letting the last two survivors farm after the first two hooked did that.

they are delayed until "The game is stable on all platforms" Lol so....they are never turning them on.

ffs at my rank it's more like I hook someone, they deliverance off when I leave while everyone else stays on gens cause SWF, if I was to go back and down them I would get hit by DS and they would run me around for another gen, and as soon as I tried to pick them up I would get flashlight stunned by a coordinated SWF teammate and another gen would be done.
Where are all these hook suicides people talk about, I could sure use some./

Well, I mostly play survivor so my killer rank is around 14. At survivor rank 7 I don't see them as much, but there were several last night.

What rank survivors you usually getting?
At rank 7 killers get only rank 2 red SWF survivors lol. You don't get people at your rank only reds because they are the ones with so few people to go against.

I don't see many DC's unless the killer is Myers or when i play ghost face which i think is odd but that's just me

Anything from rank 2 to rank 20, lol. I never know what to expect going into a match.

People trying to get challenges done. Like the one where you can't get hooked at all.
Almost everyone I've seen DC in the early game in the past day or two has been running Spine Chill and probably going for that challenge.

hopefully they fix the yamaoka maps before they enable them. That map is so dark + im color blind on top of that so when I say I can't see anything on that map I mean I can't see, I might as well be 100% blind to vision in general on that map meaning I quite literally have to DC.

I don't mind that map. It's the brightness of the other maps, especially Haddonfield, that I find ridiculous. Feels like walking under a spotlight.

i really think the dc punishments won’t do anything though. people will still suicide first hook if they just are t feeling it that round.

Me - Ruin cleansed at first minute - do 1 gen - destroy another 3 totems because of NOED.
My team - do nothing.
Yes, i will suicide on first hook and start new game.
