Seeing your freinds fade away just before you could reach them imbues you with hopelessness and regret.

If a survivor is sacrificed or bleeds out when a diffrent survivor is within 16m that different survivor has a 9% action speed pentaly for everything until that survivor performs an altruistic action on a separate surivor
