These dangerous firearms should not be held by irresponsible adults who don't know how use it properly and risk of injuring themselves and wasting the doctor's time.

Really? I estimate a good 90% of the people that bring a flashlight have no idea how to use them anyway and just let you know where the next survivor is after you hook the one on your shoulder.

Blind at pallets? You still got ears.

I actually love it when Survivors bring flashlight since majority nowadays have no idea how to use it. Just saves me the time to initiate a chase on another survivor across the map.

Yes, That's the joke. Slight annoyed playing as a survivor instead of generators being done a guy was following me for a long time just waiting for me to get downed and still fail miserably at the flashlight save. Worst case scenario they also give the killer a free hit.

Bright side is I get a free flashlight after every match I guess.

  • Some rank 2 SWF group took nothing but flashlights yesterday so I took lightborn and a Mori.

They were sooooo mad that none of their flashlights worked, more mad about that than the mori (though it was just a green one)

No, make flashlights work on survivors too. If trapper can step in his own traps, survivors should be able to blind themselves.

Oh you were talking from the survivor perspective. When I saw doctor mentioned I thought you being cheeky killer.

Yeah, it's sad. I hate having to do flashlight challenges also - I think the light comes out the big end, but not sure.

As someone who plays Hag 70% of the time, I'll lead the charge. Down with flashlights. Instruments of destruction. All hail Franklin's.

Flashlight archive challenges don't help for sure.

  • Ahaha as funny as that would be, that will never happen for what I hope is obvious reasons.

Man I was full potato trying to get the flashlight save tome challenge. Probably single handedly cost my team 3 games getting downed while trying to save.

Flashlight is literally best thing you can hope for survivors to have as a Killer. They are like build in Ruin, but 10x better as all the flashlight survivors do is follow you waiting to try to make a flashlight save for their youtube montage.

Flashlights are fair imo, you can counter them by looking up or looking at those beautiful wall textures.

Or you could run Lightborn. 😜

I love how many people don't get the joke.

But in all seriousness, on the topic of flashlights, I think that they're very powerful in the right hands and in the right situation. The only situation where a flashlight would be my first choice of item is if I somehow knew the killer would be The Hag. Hag aside, the only viable uses of flashlights are at pallets and windows, and as the killer is picking up a survivor. In the first situation, you're usually better off making distance rather than trying to get a sick juke. In the latter, you need to be in front of the killer as he picks someone up, and you have to get the timing just right. And if the killer figures out you're nearby before he starts the pickup animation, they'll just go after you.

Yeah I'm genuinely surprised how much jokes pass people's head in these forums.

When I was first playing Killer I had a lot of games where someone would try to blind me, so I'd just swing at the most obvious path they had and get a free hit cuz they stayed so long trying to get the blind off.

    Vision is overrated

Like why though? How the hell would you blind yourself?! I’m genuinely curious.

Or do You mean blind other survivors? You can already do that with firecrackers...

Seems like half the people on this thread didn't really read the actual post.
