So I Heard Slugging Is Becoming Mora Prevalent
So I’ve devised a plan that can in no way fail.
No Mither, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard (and another random perk, probably Spine Chill so Stealth Killers don’t screw me, also I’ve become way too reliant and lazy because of it).
Wanna slug? Okay, No Mither time. Wanna tunnel? Okay, DS time. *Gets moried*

That’s fine. You’ll just do it until the Exit Gates are open. I don’t play to win, I play to screw with the Killer and it seems like you’re okay with getting a 1k and a depip at the reward of killing me.
Although this is going off of IF you hypothetically knew I had both DS and No Mither in an hypothetical game, as you would never do this in an actual game.

The point of the build is to either make you waste time, or make you waste time. And from the replies I’ve received, it seems like my build will work as intended after all. I don’t play to win, I play to goof around and screw with the Killer because playing to win is kinda boring.

This. I often use DS and Unbreakable together, but I'm quite happy when I don't get a "chance" to use them in a match. A match where neither DS nor UB gets used is usually a fun match even if I die.

I say this as I started and tbh I've had to use it once in around 20 games as no one has been slugging since I put it on.
I've never run DS as I have always disliked the idea of that perk.

Don’t know if you’re a killer who says this but what about the “Keep crying survivors just use Unbreakable if you want to stop slugging” argument? I’m making up for the flaw of the unbreakable strategy by also taking DS so if you do tunnel me either way I get away. Also Dead Hard is such a stupid funny perk that I can’t help to use it sometimes.

I fail to see why slugging is "dumb" when it's the only possible counter to a perk you have at your disposal. A counter that you have yet, another perk to counter.

How would it be helping you? I’m gonna loop you too not just sit there and die. Also any smart survivor knows No Mither let’s you pick yourself up and won’t go help a No Mither if they see you’re being slugged (unless they’re in super close proximity). They also know any survivor not moving towards then while crawling wants to pick themselves up.

It's called map pressure. Eliminating one person from the gen fixing equation is inherently going to eliminate someone else from it as well, to come heal you.

Well it’s boring for the Survivor. I guess I meant “dumb” as in it’s annoying. It’s actually kinda smart for the Killer except for the fact there’s always the chance their teammates come heal them or they pick themselves up and that means you just wasted chasing the guy for 2 gens and are back to square one. And you’re slugging for the chance that the guy actually has DS. You’re gambling in a game that cannot afford you losing that gamble.

I agree it can be annoying - but you can't really make a valid argument for why it's done, or why it shouldn't be done. It being boring for the survivor isn't a good argument, because there's nothing else in place to counter certain things.

So you didn’t read my comment. I have No Mither, so unless I’m matched with boosted teammates, they won’t come heal me unless the Killer is far away, which will probably be enough time for me to pick myself up.
Of course this strategy would work best in a 4 man SWF but that’s just tacky.

Tenacity, Flip flop, Ds, and No Mither with a Sabo Toolbox would be preferable imo. Crawl towards a pallet while recovering and if they pick you put Flip flop will help at least a bit.

Realistically, out of my 3.3k hours with at least 50% of those being survivor, I can tell you that if I get slugged, no matter the ranks whether it be brown, yellow, green, purple or red, at LEAST one of my team mates gets off the generator they are on to come try and save you, usually more than one; and if the killer is near, they usually don't even go back to the gen they were on. They sneak around waiting for a window to make the heal.
That is map pressure. It's half created by survivors.

Now that I think about it, I would say another type of boosted also applies but here: Teammates that don’t come pick you up, even without No Mither. When I get slugged, almost every single time the opposite has happened to me, than what has happened to you (even at Red Ranks): I get completely recovered and have to start crawling towards a teammate even if they are repairing right next to me and aren’t even close to being done with the gen.
But still once again, if the person fully recovers, you just wasted a chase. No amount of (realistic) survivor caused pressure will earn back the 3 minutes or more of that chase.

Did you even read what I posted? Here, I'll repeat the relevant portion: "I often use DS and Unbreakable together." I often use Dead Hard as well, though the dedicated server issues have made me prefer Lithe of late. Lately I've been running DS/Unbreakable/BT/Dead Hard. Sometimes I'll switch one of those out for Spine Chill, if I'm seeing a lot of stealth killers.
In other words, I use pretty much the same build youre talking about. The point of my "this" was that I generally have more fun in games where i don't have to consume either DS or UB. I am usually happy with a game if the only perk I actually use is Dead Hard. Your point seems to be "I run DS and UB specifically to troll the killer".
No, I'm not a killer main. I do play a fair amount of killer, but I'd say I play at least 2-3 survivor games for each killer game I play. When I play killer, I only slug if I see someone nearby that I think I can get a hit on, and I dont leave them slugged for long. I almost always go for the unhooker if I'm nearby when someone is unhooked. In fact, I've thrown games by refusing to tunnel.
