whats your guys's thoughts on nemesis.
So the onis been out for alittle bit and i just wanted to see everyones opinions and i saw the thread of people about nemesis+PWYF bubba and Really quick EW with michael myers build. I doubt itll be in the shrine this early but i am working on leveling oni.

Nemesis and Play With Your Food is a strong combo but it needs two perks to combo it. Regarding Bubba it's the same situation where a group of players were saying that Enduring + Spirit Fury was broken on Bubba. Once players adapted everyone stopped caring about the combo. The same thing will happen to Nemesis + Play With Your Food. Players will adapt and learn counters to it and just play around it.

Probably the most iconic RE monster. Which you can apparently kill early on...I don't know... never got far into the game.
Was kinda cool and at the same time kinda lame on the movie. For whatever reason it devolves into a fist fight and the dude gives weapons to alice...like... ######### dude?
At least they didn't keep bringing it back for no reason like piramid head. "It's all monsters from your subconscious!" "And also piramid head, he's always around"
The perk exists... 🤷♂️ don't really have a strong opinion on it.

didn't buy oni but it seems like a interesting perk I'll buy it when it appears in a shrine at some point

My hype for the perk completely died when the Legion nerf in terms of synergy got announced.
It's a great perk when you're in the middle of a Jungle Gym chase, but I still wish that Legion would have synergised with it (Legion is behind Clown as the worst killer in the game now).
Not really a perk you can use on its own though, you have to have a combo to work with it which immediately eats up two perk slots that aren't Ruin.
Nemesis also only works if a Survivor stuns you, and you could in fact go a whole game where a Survivor never even stuns you.

I mean, disagree that Legion is worse than Clown, but can't deny that doctor is the worst in the game at high ranks (stomps low ranks). But, you have a very pessimistic approach to the perk. PWYF and Nemesis and maybe even Dark Devotion can play for some fun time on killers like Myers, Hillbilly, Ghostface.
Is it good though? Not too sure. I saw OhTofu try a build with it on Myers and it looked really fun actually!

I think it's a great perk for the game. I don't think its overpowered/underpowered in any form. It's a perk the enables several new builds to work and spices up the game a bit. Instead of just slapping BBQ and Ruin on every character, I now feel l can have a pretty solid build that revolves around the obsession mechanic that is fun to play.

I disagree, as Clown at least has an insta-down add-on, whereas Legion synergises with nothing post-Feral Frenzy nerf which ruins any playstyle that could work with them. Also, they still feel very slow for some reason (PWYF helps out more than before).
Also, as you noted Nemesis has to be part of a combo for it to become decent on any kind of killer build which takes up slots higher rank killers really don't have.
Doctor is not the worst killer at high ranks as you can still 4k/Pip on the smaller maps (also Impossible Skill Checks weed out players not paying attention), and he gains information on Survivors, and slows the game down with Tier III Madness on the bigger maps (again add-on dependent).
I think that as all of the Oni's perks are still relatively new, people are just trying out what they have paid for but I do believe that more people will revert back to the older perks in a month or two.

I don't get Nemesis. On its own, it seem like a really bad perk. As part of a combo piece to make other under used perks better it seem very overpriced.
If I'm going to eat wood on purpose I'd rather use Enduring + Spirit Fury.

I only see the Nemesis + PWYF synergy being useful on Plague. For everyone else, it's a gimmicky use of two perk slots that will probably hinder you more than not. Getting 3 tokens on PWYF takes a while, and unless you can down someone by only spending 1, you probably won't get much value. Plus, people can throw pallets early if they're worried about it.

I mean, perk combos are really powerful, people use so many without realizing. I get that most are still strong on they’re own, but just because you use 2 perk slots for a combo, doesn’t mean it’s going to be a “waste”.

Overrated.
It's just an okay effect for costing you 2 perk slots..that's meh.
