You know what IS easy though? Finding HUGE, BLATANTLY OBVIOUS game breaking bugs like this in QA and not releasing it broken.

Finding the bugs and fixing the bugs are two different things. For such a specific bug, the chapter has no reason to be delayed.

You're missing the point - they don't want people disconnecting, and they released an update that more or less forces people to disconnect because it has a GAME BREAKING BUG in it. A bug that BREAKS THE GAME.The patch should have been delayed. Period. I seriously hope you never become a game developer. All your projects would fail.

So after the hotfix this may happened now once a hundred games. So thats probably not the same bug as hte one being around before. So stop your unreasonable complains.

A. Insulting me won't get us anywhere.
B. Disconnecting wasn't really the issue here. It's the fact that the bug isn't fixed. Nothing to do with disconnecting.
C. This bug is quite specific. To my knowledge, it only occurs in the basement. I only get 2-3 basement hooks per match, and in the last ~25 matches have not encountered this bug ONCE.

I didn't insult you at all; and disconnecting is directly related to it. They punish people for disconnecting, yet if they got hooked in the basement they had to literally disconnect. The bug is specific, but happens on such a bog standard function of the game that happens EVERY single match, that it shouldn't have been released in that state.
Stop white knighting for the devs here. They have to take responsibility for their mistakes; and with the amount of things that break with every other patch, blowing smoke up their backside isn't the solution. They need people to be critical of them to get it through their heads.

It is still a huge bug that ruins games. It's not even uncommon to be hooked in the basement so releasing the chapter with a major bug isn't what bhvr should've done.

Tbh, it's not easy to create such big issues like this neither. They have some problems with coding, some serious problems. And they have to get some help from outside. It can't keep going like this for another few years.

That's not an insult, it's a prediction based on evidence. It can only really be insulting if it's not blatantly true - and willingness to release a broken product to the paying masses would make them a failure.
