Huntress Addon Rework
I got bored and decided to do a slight rework to the huntresses addons for fun. Her addons would fit the 4 common, 5 uncommon, 5 rare, 4 very rare, and 2 ultra rare addon style that the devs are slowly making every killer have. A lot of addons remain the same but i did have fun with a few of them. Not super great, my change to iridescent head is pretty poor so dont really pay that any mind, but i like my change to shiny pin as the second ultra rare for Huntress quite a bit.
Pungent Phial
Common
Lockers' Auras are shown to you when within 36 metres of range.
Coarse Stone
Common
Hit target suffers from the Haemorrhage Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Bandaged Haft
Common
Slightly decreases cool-down time between Hatchet throws.
Amanita Toxin
Common
Hit target suffers from the Blindness Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Berus Toxin
Uncommon
Hit target suffers from the Exhaustion Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Manna Grass Braid
Uncommon
Moderately decreases Hatchet wind-up time.
Leather Loop
Uncommon
Start with 1 extra Hatchet. Increases maximum carried Hatchet amount by 1.
Fine Stone
Uncommon
Hit target suffers from the Haemorrhage Status Effect for 60 seconds.
Deerskin Gloves
Uncommon
Moderately decreases Hatchets reload time at a Locker.
Venomous Concoction
Rare
Hit target suffers from the Exhaustion Status Effect for 90 seconds.
Rusty Head
Rare
Hit target suffers considerably from the Mangled Status Effect for 120 seconds.
Oak Haft
Rare
Moderately decreases cool-down time between Hatchet throws.
Yew Seed Brew
Rare
Hit target suffers from the Hindered Status Effect for 15 seconds.
Flower Babushka
Rare
Considerably decreases Hatchets wind-up time.
Infantry Belt
Very Rare
Start with 2 extra Hatchets. Increases maximum carried Hatchet amount by 2.
Glowing Concoction
Very Rare
Hit victims' Auras are shown to you for 5 seconds.
Begrimed Head
Very Rare
Hit target suffers from the Broken Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Yew Seed Concoction
Very Rare
Hit target suffers from the Hindered Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Iridescent Head
Ultra Rare
Increase movement speed 1% for each thrown hatchet, up to a maximum of 5%. Resets back to 110% after reloading.
Shiny Pin
Ultra Rare
While holding a hatchet, the repair progress of Generators can be determined by the intensity of their Auras.

how is that useless? you can see what gens is almost done and go there to stop it.

You could get similar info from bbq or thrilling tremors. This add on is especially bad because bbq is a must have for Huntress.

How does this work with extra hatchets? Is it capped at 5% or does it go over?
edit - Misread, It is capped at 5% my mistake. Assuming once you have thrown at least 5 hatchets the bonus is reached correct? Sounds alright because if you wanted to abuse the movement speed while still being able to throw hatchets you'd only have 2.

In my opinion this is too gimmicky and as others have stated there are perks that would be better suited for this.

you have to get hook for bbq, with this addon you just need to hold an axe. also the devs dont do good pinks anyways.

I like the Iri head.
I think I prefer the current begrimed head (mangled + repair speed decrease). Broken seems so situational that a survivor has to have a syringe.

Fun ideas and I see Yew got moved to purple. That’s one of my favorites on her.
If you actually knew which gens are being repaired, you could cross map snipe the gen. I would prefer an indication that survivors are on the gen over progression of the gen if that were possible.

I thought yew was really good so i figured it could stand to move up (plus the devs will probably do that on their own when they rework her addons lol)
My idea for that addon is mainly for the cross-map hatchets. Plus Wraith and Legion both have similar ultra rares so i thought it would fit her pretty well. It would be nice if you could receive a notification when a survivor started working on a gen but i still like my idea

the idea is for her to be able to know which gens likely need to be stopped and allow her to cross-map hatchet towards said generator. Legion and Wraith have similar addons

For iri head, yeah it would be reached after throwing 5, but if it was too strong with infantry belt then it could be changed so that you only gain the movement speed after going from 5 to 4 hatchets and so on.
As for Shiny Pin, i think it'd make it easier to get cross-map hatchets and you could use this knowledge in the middle of a chase. wind up a hatchet for the survivor youre chasing, see that a gen nearby is getting close to done or at least has been worked on, and toss over to get the survivor who's repairing. Legion and wraith both have similar addons as well

true but this does offer the ability to be used in the middle of a chase rather than bbq and thrilling tremors which can only be used after a chase is over. I definitely think the devs could make a better addon but for the huntress i do think this would make a pretty fun ultra rare. id rather an ultra rare that does something redundant than making the addon pretty laughably bad such as nurse's extra blink ultra rare that doesnt allow you to blink through objects, ya know? lol

Fair enough explaining it like that regarding Shiny Pin although I feel as though with how niche it is it could pass as a very rare instead of ultra rare but I can see it working as you described it.
