Just a minor quip.
I'm a rank 20 terrible killer. I mainly play survivor with friends. (I also spend points in killer having never played them)
This is what I hate about Killer. I wait 10 minutes for a game. Then get lucky and down 1 or 2 survivors. Almost immediate DCs. Then I pretty much just let the other survivors win because its no fun anymore. I rather get ran over with a 4 man escape then this crap.
This is my experience almost every time I play killer, Also sometimes I get matched with Purple Rank survivors and they are the ones that DC.

Not that this makes it in any way your fault, for the record - DCing is still childish and despicable, no matter who the killer is - but what killer were you playing?

I mainly Play Pig, Legion, and Wraith. When I do even attempt to play killer because I have some semblance of points in them.

95% of people I know hate going against Trapper. Especially newer people

Sounds like you are either playing an unfun killer or in an unfun way.
That or the survivors had real world things they had to take care of.

This isn't an excuse imo. Just because a killer plays in a certain way shouldn't mean they can just DC because they're losing. I've had matches where as killer, I downed a player in a loop, and because they didn't like that fact, they DC. I've noticed it's usually the purple/red ranks that always do this, because clearly their ego was hurt

"Unfun". Okay. Would it be more fun if survivors got to pick my perks for me? Maybe we should implement that. Because disconnecting is totally okay if the killer is somebody you don't really like, so this way they won't disconnect anymore since they will get to pick my build! Sounds great!

@UrbanCommando Yeah, a lot of people hate going against Trapper, especially now with the Tome ongoing - there have been so many Trappers for the last month and a half and everyone is just sick of it. As for the other killers you play, I guess Wraith and Legion aren't that fun but I wouldn't expect a lot of DCs against them, and I don't know many people who hate going against Pig. It's not like you're playing Spirit or something, so seems a bit odd that everyone keeps disconnecting. Unfortunately you can't really avoid Trapper either if you need him for your challenges.
Does this happen whenever you play killer, regardless of who you're playing? And what platform are you playing on?

It's been about a 60% ratio. I play on PC and even though im rank 20 I wait 10 mins and get matched with purple and green ranks.
I didnt want to cause drama, I wont bother anyone else, I guess I'll just stick with survivor as I get games in and if i get killed i just move on to the next game without a 10 mins. I dont even read post game chat I turn it off after a incident, where a dude basically told me how he was gonna brick my router and dox me and my girl. (He was banned) but after that postgame is perma off.
Tl dr i guess my issue will be mute when the dc bans are in full effect.

Killer queues turn instant once you reach green ranks. Playing killer can be very rewarding and fun, especially since you dont need to worry about bad teammates. Turn off chat, and just play in a way you find enjoyable. Some survivors only have "fun" by trashing others, win or lose. Feed them to the entity and move on.

Anti-archive Survivors. Happens to me all the time. Doing those challenges are nigh impossible even at high ranks because of the lack of punishment for DCs.
This has been an issue for probably two years now, but it only picked up speed during the Legion Scapegoat Epidemic. I don't think the issue is ever going to be resolved in all honesty, even with the planned changes on DCs.
