Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

How do sounds just so happen to get “broken” each single patch?

I know it’s been said but I’m saying it again. Sounds are screwed.

I legit can’t even play Spirit (a killer that RELIES on sounds working) because sometimes footsteps just don’t want to make sound or the game just makes everybody have Iron Will even when the perk is not equipped. One minute they’ll make sounds and the next minute they are completely silent making zero injured moans or footsteps. Even survivors who are slugged don’t make sounds. Guess I’ll never find that Claudette on Yamaoka. Guess I gotta equip Deerstalker now.

I’ve gotten BVHR’ed so many times tonight due to sounds. It’s so frustrating.

I have to agree, and not only for killer. As survivor I have a lot of issues with sound as well.

Generator sounds being all over the place, impossible or downright wrong localization leading you to believe gens are somewhere other than were they are (specially indoor maps like Lery's).

Killer footsteps and terror radius really wonky.

Survivor breathing, grunts of pain and footsteps get completely wrecked by obstructions in a very unnatural way too.

My guess is the hamster keeps falling off the wheel.

I don't know, like at this point I don't know if it's comical or just sad.

They break nearly every patch, and it's been that way for 3 years. Not even exaggerating lmao.

Personally the buggiest sounds I've ever seen in a game.

You gotta love the no sound generators in haddonfield/badham funhouse. Literally unless you go downstairs you won’t hear a thing.
