Killer Nerf Predictions

Ghostface:

-Now emits a sound again when he is near you with shroud

-no longer hides red stain while in chase


Hag:

-can no longer place traps around a survivor in a 8 meter range, already placed traps vanish near hooked survivors


Hillbilly:

-now has a cooldown on his chainsaw which can get reduced by his "new addons" and 'tremendously' by his new ultra rare add on


Huntress:

-her ultra rare add on no longer one shots but applies hermorrage


Wraith:

-his sound based add ons now 'slighty' remove his movement speed while cloaked


oh and somewhere inbetween these nerfs, legion and deep wounds get nerfed 3 times

    ok thats my little list:

    GF - using m2 removes bloodlust (couple times GF marked me when he had BL2) "im so sneaky with bl2" xd

    huntress - iri heads, and i see it 2 ways 1st: 1shot after certain distance, 2nd when target is healthy it gives him deep wounds (more slowdown) but in that case, remove -4 hatchets penalty, and she needs 2nd red add on

    (i know forever freddy freddy was nerfed) but i still dont think using his m2 (pallets or puddles) and bloodlust shouldnt work together xd

    thats pretty much it i just hate ppl abusing bloodlust (i know because of maps its needed in game, but when im getting bloodlusted on unsafe pallet im like "nice mindgame, BL2")

    and imo all 3 are pretty reasonable

    Some buffs to weak killers would've been justified before nerfing the killers that kept people playing the game.

    My bet on the next nerf is huntress. After that either Hag or GF.

    Um can you not give the devs ideas please, killers are weak enough as is and they come up with terrible stuff enough on their own without needing more ideas.

    If you can't catch a survivor while in chase, after 15 seconds killer gain extra movement speed (bloodlust 1). If you don't break a pallet or lose the survivor killer can reach bloodlust 3. (Insane movement speed) If you break a pallet or lose chase, the bloodlust resets.

    Even if it is a sidegrade (which to me from what I've seen does not seem to be the case), whats the point? He's already one of the weaker killers.

    Base kit Nurse was not justified. The devs just ran out of ideas for her addons and needed something else.

    To OP, I don't think the iri head will be hemorrhage. We have that already. Though it could apply ALL status debuffs at once. That would be amusing.

    The point would be to make him less annoying. And if it is a buff then to buff him.

    We cannot conclude how strong the new doc is until we've seen things like the Numbers and the details behind the execution.

    Remember this could be anything from a nerf that makes him Leatherface tier, to a buff that makes him current Freddy tier. That's an extremely large possible range of strength. Not enough to make any meaningful predictions regarding balance.

    It seems like killer add-ons aren't that good because the best kind are always one of a kind. For example Hillbilly doesn't have enough add-ons that reduce his charge time (he has like 1 yellow one) and that's probably because they don't want you getting an instasaw, but if that's the case just make it non stackable!

    and they are all stackable on top of eachother, in high rank you wont see any other combination than the bulb and tuning guide because it almost cute the charge time in half

    Predicting patch notes for Clowns "Buff" update🙄:

    Updates to Clowns power:

    Clown now no longer slows down when reloading his bottles

    Gas Effects now include oblivious, and Hindered by default for the duration

    Gas clouds now cover a larger area by default which can be expanded by add-ons

    Balance:

    Survivors now only experience the gas effects while in the gas cloud

    Clowns bottle count reduced from 4 to 2

    Increased the cooldown between bottle throws from .5 to 1.5 seconds to prevent Clown from performing breaking or vaulting actions sooner than intended, and give survivors a better chance of escaping the gas cloud before he can throw another bottle.

    Clowns movement speed reduced from 115% to 110% by default.


    Does this sound about right?

    Do people really still think killer should be nerfed and not buffed? Do the math, a good chase for killer lasts 30 seconds and probably takes another 10 to hook them and get to another survivor with BBQ, that's 40 seconds of work on 3 gens when they only take 80 seconds total. In other words survivors get 150% of gen work in 1 chase, not including the possible 20 seconds to find someone if you get unlucky. Not only that, but if the survivors go for the unhook and heal it takes probably 10 Seconds for the unhook then 16 for a heal, so 26 to get rid of your 40 seconds of chase and finding a new chase. This amount of time allows the 4th person to pop 1st Gen about the time killer gets 1st hit on new chase, and for the unhooker and unhooked to run back to the unhooker's gen and pop it by the time the killer gets 2nd down, AND there will be another gen at 50% from the first person chased. None of this is including perks such as we'll make it for an 8 second heal off hook or if the survivors can't hit their ruin skill check but I think just based on the fact that 60% of gens (2 complete 2 at 50%) will be done by a smart team with no items by 2nd hook to a decent killer is kinda ridiculous. I feel like most people who complain about killer being over powered have never actually sat down and played killer for a rank reset. I can tell you right now that unless you're playing nurse or spirit you will tell immediately when you make it even to purple ranks how much more difficult it is to win as killer against a good team of pallet efficient survivors. I know this is long and we could get into details about perks and add-ons and items and offerings and blah blah blah, but I think even if we look at that a good survivor team should come out on top with atleast 2 if not more escapes. I play both sides rank 1 pretty evenly so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what's up with the game, but maybe I'm wrong. That's my 2 cents but if you wanna have a discussion about it I'm up for that but I don't really check on threads often so I guess if you care enough or think I'm wrong you can hit me up on steam at Moppot.rats. Sorry for the long ass comment that probably made no sense I typed it up in like 5 minutes and I'm too lazy to read through it lmao

    Huntress: Let iri hatches apply the DW effect but she keep all her hatches

    Yeah they aren't removing that one buddy. Just work on not getting hit. Oddly enough, once you play killer and know the bs hitboxes for her, you can dodge them a whole lot easier.


    Tbh Wraith is a little underpowered as a killer, as any survivor with eyes can tell he is coming (unless its an indoor map) and any survivor with ears will hear his elephant footsteps before he gets to you.


    The Hag suggestion is just laughable. Oh yeah, lets take the killer who is the LEAST viable in higher ranks, and nerf her even more.

    Only nerf she needs is just a fix.. Stop making my camera snap to that phantasm every time I trigger one.
