I have Empathy equipped but the killer still finds a hook right away before I can start blinding!

I don’t use flashlights and I feel bad for using them.

    You don't have to save the survivor, just blind the killer while they are carrying period.


    I'd say use a purple with Green Battery, and a lense of some sort.

    I'm honestly pretty terrible using flashlights, and I like never get blinded by people using them when I have someone on my shoulder as killer. Somehow I managed to get the challenge done using some firecrackers I had left over. If you got some they may be your best hope, since most killers won't suspect it.

    This one seems to be pretty tough among my friends to do as well. Usually taking longer than any other survivor challenge unless they get lucky.

    You just have to blind them while carrying. They don't have to drop the survivor.

    As soon as the killer starts picking them up, blind them in the animation, timing doesn't matter at all.

    You can blind them while they're in the middle of the hooking animation and it should still count.

    Firecracker worked for me. You want to get to the hook before he does and act like you are just body blocking the hook. When he gets close and is about to swing and hit you, drop the firecracker.
