I am a killer main (never play surv) and I want to make my frustration be noticed by the devs
The scoring system in this game is absolutely broken
It is completely unfair and frustrating to have long games, chases all the time, shitloads of hooks, no camping and the like, get 3-4 kills and be awarded Brutal Killer. This is infuriating and makes me want to stop playing this game.
I just got out of a very tough game, was playing as plague, got gen rushed (ruin was found in the first 30 seconds of the game), I was constantly in chases, hooked every survivor at least once, did not tunnel nor camp. Was getting my ass handed to me with 0 kills and 1 gen left when I managed to 3 gen an area and kill 3 survivors when as they were opening the gates (PS: was not runing noed).
And even so, after the clutch 3k, all that hard work and frustration I got awarded Entity Displeased. This really sucks, killed my vibe immediatly, devs should consider a rework in the scoring system.

I agree it's still a bit wonky
Killers with instadowns and trapper getting punished for playing the way they are meant to play is sad

I remember @ScottJund had an interesting idea that he posted in another thread around fixing this exact problem, with the general idea being that different killers should receive boosts in the emblems in which they suffer as a result of their design.

Kind of true. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't look at it.
The harder it is for Killers to rank up the less Killers there will be to face Survivors who are in red ranks (which is, lets be honest, like 50% of them because of how easy it is to rank as a Survivor.)
Also you need to double pip to get Adept Killer achievements and the issues with the scoring system make this even harder than it already is. Not that OP was going to Adept Plague, just saying the scoring system for Killer is still questionable.

Yeah, this part is real frustrating too, it makes no sense to have to play around your own power in order to score more points

It's far from perfect.
Not surprising at all to see these are Plague screenshots; Plague, Trapper, and any instadown killer get punished by the emblems because they have not been designed with them in mind.
