The basement Creepy soundtrack gone?

So, I was in the basement the other day searching through the chest and realized I no longer hear eerie sounds that it used to emit. Is that intentional or is it just another bug?
I hated the track myself but it caused me to have a sense of dread every time I entered the basement. I thought it was a nice touch.
It’s possible I’m going deaf too.

Well, Behaviour does break sound on a regular base. Quite possible they broke that too. Wouldn't surprise me.

Since the sounds are broken it can be a bug, but maybe it can be a FBI top secret change or you could just be deaf
