Ok no Winter event fine, but what about the stuff they already have??????
They have the resources they can reuse to make add christmas stuff to the game, all they have to do is add in the mystery boxes into blood webs, change the lobby to the christmas one from last year, and change the hooks, barrels, and lockers to have christmas lights on them, they have all of these resources they can just reuse and it might take all of one hour to implement.
for hooks like the one in the map for the stranger things dlc, if its too hard to add christmas lights to them then just dont, just use old resources, i personally love the atmosphere
I understand that there will be nothing new for the event due to them telling us they would be focusing on game health this year but that could still add the old resources.

Maybe there are legitimate technical reasons that make this more difficult than it seems, but it does kinda feel like being kicked while you're down after no Summer Event and a very meh Halloween 'Event'.
The next Lunar New Year 'Event' better take some of the feedback from the Withering Blight and be amazing.

There will never be anymore events. Just themed generators and hooks for more bloodpoints. I don’t know what feedback the whitering blights should give.

I may also question if this would take just one hour to implement. But I wanna ask for the reuse anyway and hopefully get feedback from BHVR if this would be at least possible

Whilst the resources might have been there, it's not as easy to implement as you seem to think - don't forget that we've had a few engine upgrades since last Winter and a lot of things have changed, it's not something that can be added in an hour! The decision has been made to focus on other things, and I fully support the decision.

People who make these kind of topics clearly don't know how programming works. It's not that simple as just copy paste something from last year and expect it to work.

That's why I put events in quotes.
Hopefully they crank the ambience up to 11 and have more than just themed generators. Even if they're never going to do Event currency or exclusive Event cosmetics ever again they could at least put some effort into making the game look and feel different during the 'Event'.
But I know that's being too hopeful.

As someone who is currently on day 2 of an AP programming exam I goddamn wish it was that simple though. But yeah you are correct it is a lot more difficult than it seems.

If BHVR gets the computer chips up and running and implanted into the heads of each staff member then we can eliminate the need for you folks to eat and sleep. I see no reason why an unethical solution to such a minor problem cannot be considered.

Oh, I see I was the only one who voted for this. Yikes. Honestly, it's not as simple as saying "we already have these so let's put it in." I'm not sure why people would even vote for adding it due to the fact it's normally the same thing over and over. Plus, how many people would actually be doing the festive hooks and that? We're probably going to get that kind of event next month anyways and it'll still be Winter.

They said they want to focus on other aspects of the game but, with being as kind as I can with this criticism, the things that need to be improved still haven't been improved for months. They least they can do is add some holiday spirit to the game without cosmetics that cost 10$.
I'm also aware they added more sweaters and a Tree charm, but let's be real, it feels so lackluster when those sweaters (most of them being for license cosmetics and requiring) being behind a paywall and just a lowzy ol' charm isn't gonna bring much Christmas Spirit like the decorations did past years.

ok what if it was just the winter music in the lobby, if it was just this it would still be more than nothing other than a blood hunt that i really have no need for since i have a p3 level 50 survivor with every perk, and a p3 level 50 killer with every perk
