Killers need buffs not nerfs
I know you don't play killer and actually HATE killer and anyone who plays it but come on, you can't alienate half of your player base so much.

They do play killer, this is a proven fact if you watch Almo, Peanits, or most other devs play. If you’re going to make that claim, please prove it.

They play killer because they enjoy it, if their only goal was making survivor easier then survivors would never get nerfed.

Killer don't need buffs, you need buffs, if we keep buffing and nerfing both sides, it's going to be a never ending cycle, when new killers/perks/maps etc are introduced, we have to expect certain adjustments to be made to current perks/add-on so that the new features can be transited smoothly

I find the game pretty balanced (with a couple hiccups) for the most part, when playing both roles.
Sometimes it can be more frustrating to play Killer, but that's the nature of the role I suppose :) Try and have fun!

Sorry you lose sometimes and think your life as a DBD player is over. People just complain too much and can never fault themselves as a reason why they’ve lost a game. Think what you want, but DBD continues to become more and more balanced as it updates.

That's rich considering killers keep getting nerfed due to survivors complaining constantly over losing a single match.

Many are, and they're being ignored while others get nerfed that aren't deserved. Survivors over-perform but that's ignored also. The devs are only interested in balancing the game to favour survivors. They only listen to survivors.

Most every killer can get a 2k commonly which means they aren’t under-preforming and survivors aren’t over-preforming.
The devs are balancing around a 2k which favors no side.

Not all killers though, some like Clown have been falling far behind but remains completely ignored for years. Survivors whine about anything and get a killer nerfed within mere weeks.
Also if the game is balanced around 2 kills, why do killers derank for only getting 2?

I doubt the devs player killer very often otherwise they wouldn't have been in the state they were in 2 years ago. That alone is proof enough that they must rarely play killer

Although I’ve wanted Clown and Legion buffed for awhile, they still meet the aimed average. Not everyone complaining about something killers have only plays survivor, a lot of people play both sides and give feedback on things that annoy them (spirit and insta-heals are good examples).

There was a video a while ago where Cote was practically forced to play killer at an event in Korea I believe it was. He was laughably bad and it was so obvious he never plays killer. You could see him get visibly frustrated. If not for that event, Hag probably never would have been buffed.

I can’t precisely answer that since I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes but he still has the dev tag, and the person I quoted doubted any dev played killer often.

You’re just lying to yourself if you really believe that.
Over the past year and a half or so, a lot of killers has received some sort of buff or was already strong.
Trapper, Wraith, Hag, Freddy were all killers that received buffs (or rework for Freddy). Trapper and Hag had their add ons reworked (for the better) and had speed increased to their traps (distance also for Hag). Wraith also got a great add on rework and great buff to his Basekit. And of course Freddy not too long ago had his complete rework that has made him real strong (And they rightfully nerfed forever Freddy, which was deserved). Now Doctor is up next.
In terms of nerfs for killers, it hasn’t really impacted them at all. Spirit and Nurse are still ridiculously strong. Yet, they’re definitely more balanced.
How ever you feel about Legion is debatable, but I personally don’t see a difference and do just fine with them.
I think the Oni change is a bit controversial, but he still can do quite well in my experience playing with him.
I always have success with each and every killer at rank 1 and see most of them in a good spot. All I would like to see soon is some map reworks.

Honestly, if they fixed Ruin spawns, make DS deactivate on another survivor hook, and stopped flashlights from blinding outside of FOV, it would be pretty balanced.

If he has little to no input on balance then he's not a dev that matters as far as front end balancing is concerned . Nothing on him if he is a dev I'm sure he does important work but I'm concerned with the devs that have a direct affect on the direction and actual balance of the game

Then it's counting DC's as kills. That would definitely skew the data due to how frustratingly often survivors DC.

Guys, this is not actually about buffing or nerfing the killers - they are strong (I mean A, B tier) during longer games..so this is about the gen speed, as it always was. I would say the balance of the game would be pretty nice as it is if there were just longer games.
To compare devs thinking - they just nerfed Oni, because he could destroy the whole team in under 5 mins. That's fair...but what's not fair is coms+toolboxes+bonuses to gen speed in general. Killers can be destroyed in under 5 mins and it has been like that for years and no one from the devs actually care. And I play more survivor than killer. But this issue has been completely ignored for a long time. Make toolboxes very rare? Why so many toolboxes are spawning? Change proove thyself, change speed bonuses ..I dont know.. at least try something?Maybe acknowledge the problem a make something happen? After all those years? There would be much less "buff killers;nerf swfs threads).

I actually play way more killer than I do survivor. As for the video, Tru3 was basically playing a zero perk pig against a 3or4man SWF. One DC and he killed another (head pop albeit). The one thing to notice on DBD are their stupid god loops, which exist on many maps. That’s the one thing that needs fixing for better balance, like I mentioned in one of my earlier posts.

If you watch Tru3 more, you'd understand he makes plenty of mistakes then blames the game. He's not God given gift to DBD like he thinks he is, lol.
This video is just an example of him being a bad killer and blaming the game for him not winning , imo.
"She's a good Survivor i'm not even gonna bother chasing her" Proves that the Claudette is consistently outplaying him and he can't handle it Lol :3
"Not gonna get a hit here if she plays it safe" proceeds to not even respect pallets and take the stuns and give her distance, lol. I can name about 5 more mistakes he made in less than 5 minutes if you want me to

Allow me to rephrase, MOST 2K games in red ranks are de-pips. Besides, if you 4K in red ranks, that means you should keep ranking up, plus a lot of Survivors in red ranks are kinda boosted.

Most of mine are safety pips which is completely fine. I agree that if you 4K, you should pip, I also however think you should pip if you escape. Or just not de-pip.

The thing that would be skewing results is counting DCs, the devs only take into account the matches where the killer KILLS the survivor when looking at their kill rate

I'm not sure, but I think I felt my IQ dropping when I read this thread. You can't just claim something and not base it off evidence lmao. It's in their own interest to maintain the game and last time I took a look at Dead By Daylight, that would mean balancing both the killers side and the survivors side. The funny thing is that they have been balancing both sides too, but you're just either too ignorant to see it, or you're just an extremely underappreciative individual.
The Insta medkit nerf, the Freddy rework, the Doc semi-rework, map reworks and the fact they said they would be monitoring both Doc and Legion are all proof of that. And as a matter of fact, the only 2 major changes I can come up with right now favoring the survivors were the necessary add on nerfs for Freddy and Spirit and the Nurse rework.
I'm not saying the game is perfectly balanced. It's far from it in my opinion, but a bit of awareness of what's going on does go a long way.

The pointless statistic they use to balance the game says killers are over performing. The issue is that survival is not tied to pips as survivor so there is no weight to it. We also have the issue of survivors de-ranking to get to lower levels due to the lack of killers at red ranks, further increasing the kill statistics.
