I have been reported for hacking. HELP
HI!
This is my first post on DBD Forums.
I had a very mean player that accused me of hacking cause i knew where players where , even tho i tryed too explain they left scratches, good headphones, and all round knowing how survivors behave since i mainly play survivor.
he got very aggressive and started calling me names and said he would start a thread about it and report me.
I have the last few seconds and the convo at the end of the match recorded.
i reported him for abuse as well.
You can clearly see in the video that there is no hacks or whatever.
my question is how do i send said video too Devs as proof ?

Honestly don't worry about it. They get so many claims of hackers both legit and not on a regular basis that literally no one gets banned.7

I wouldn't worry too much about it, BHVR won't punish you for false reports. They'll also have chat logs etc to look at.

Most people say that they are going to report you just to annoy you because they're salty and 90% of the time they won't even report you, don't even worry about it

Not_queen, the community liaison, replied to a similar post recently. They get a lot of false report and have systems in place to check for cheating. If you didn't do anything they aren't going to ban you, and won't ban you without proof. You're safe friend, some let those players bully you.5

Doesn't matter ur fine. I got called a hacker as Freddy just because I use my ears to hear a survivor that was healing. Hell I didn't even use nurses calling 😂😂0

Don't worry. There are so many salty new players out there that report every little thing as hacking because they cannot handle losing, but usually the dev's etc. do not listen to these salty reports especially if there is no prove. If you have screenshots of the chat as well as a video of the game you are 100% save.2

Thank you99.99% that person isn't reporting you, also its incredibly rare to get banned by false accusations and even more rare to be banned on DBD in general. You have somewhere between 127%-341% chance of nothing happening.

Since you outed youself i dont have to worry about naming and shaming anymore. In 1300 hours this is the most clear case of hacking that i have seen unless you are extremely lucky or a gifted player. Also the fact that you were rank 13 at the time with nothing but lvl 1 garbage perks. Like i said. Either gifted, which could be true, or you are hacking.
I was the person who reported you. Why?
First off you did not have BBQ and more than twice you went straight to the people who were hiding near by that were not exposed to bbq's aura. Behind rocks, buildings ect that had plenty of LOS breakers and physical objects between me and the person you went to. These were green rank players that did not leave tracks on their way to the hook . You went straight to them while they were hiding. Straight to them. No looking around first. None of that. Straight to them. This is what made me want to know if you had bbq if you remember.
You said you knew how people behaved and acted and this made you good. To the point of knowing exactly where they were 20-30 meters away after hooking with no bbq? Either extremely lucky or you were using that wallhack.
Personally i call bullshit. It was just not the going to them after the hooking. I have never seen somebody as efficient with theit time management as you before. It was almost as if you knew where we were at all times. I worked on gens and hear you coming so id get to a safe spot. You would spot me after coming straight to me, dont ask me how cos with urban you would have to be on top of me, so i would run away and lead you off on some chase.
There were far too many moments of how the ######### did he know this ######### in the game to be simply a good player.

And if you are so good then why are you not ranked higher and only have garbage rank 1 perks? Are you a god? Might be but i call bullshit since is this by far the easiest solution for me to swallow after having played that game.

Futhermore, this was one of the quickest games i have seen. Where you feel like saying ######### did just happen? All 4 just got ######### slapped and are sitting there stunned. This was over in about three min with no gens done on one of the biggest maps. And you mostly M1 while not using hatchets.

Yeah man, best option is to just ignore them. At least you and your friends know youre not a hacker. Ive gotten called a hacker in halo quite a few times and I just laugh because I know it isnt true. I could see if you were like glitching thru walls and infinite sprint and what not but clearly that isnt the case.
