RIFT

The rift progression is incredibly slow. It’s WAYYY over 70 hours to complete, there are other games I want too play as well, I don’t want to feel forced to play DBD every single day in order to complete the pass.

for example Apex legends battle pass takes me an hour a day for 50 days. For dbd it took me well over 200 hours and I still have tiers left to complete

You dont have to complete the Pass. Easy as that. It is not necessary to get those 1000 Auric Cells back, even on a lower Level you get quite a lot for 10 Euros.

btw. congratulations, I think you opened the 500st Thread about this topic.

It is extremely grindy. I hope the Devs address how grindy it is, I simply don't have that kind of time.

They won't, they don't want people to make their cells back that's why tier 70 is a charm and not something good.

You're already paying for the game, paying extra for getting the exact same amount of cells where as some other systems that are free to play you end up having even more of the currency at a lower level feels not only underwhelming but quite a scam, since the cosmetics are gonna end up in the shop anyway from what I've heard what's the point?

Charms are lacking, there's very few ones that have got some nice look to them and that's it, this whole idea of a pass seems hollow and simply meaningless, it doesn't fit in this game at all.

I don't think they would do that. I think their initial estimates were off, but there was no malicious intent.

If you don't do any archive challenges it would take you over 700 games in 3 months to get to tier 70 if their estimates were off they should go back to school because that's waaay off. But I doubt their estimates were off considering you barely get rewarded for hitting tier 70.

they stated clear as day; “we want everyone to have the ability to complete the pass, that’s why casual players should be able to complete it by playing an hour a day (70 hours total).

im not a casual player, who has gotten nearly all challenges done in the tome and has had to put in over 200 hours to get to where he is on the rift.

Congratulations on having absolutely nothing useful to say, have a great day you lost this one

I don’t think them putting the items in the store later is a big deal. If they do it’ll be for the standard high rates which makes it a bargain getting it from the pass early,

i see your point tho, maybe make one of the outfits exclusive, (for example this tome features claudette so the pass can make her purple outfit exclusive to those who earned it within that rift)

It should be grindy tho. They lowered the difficulty of the tome challenges.

How is that nothing useful to say? It is the 500th post and as it is just about cosmetics, noone forces you to play DBD. That's what he said.

And it is about 1 hour pure playtime, the current queue and other stuff you do outside trials makes it about 2 hours per day (I also said that in 10 threads already). I finished level 3 within one week, and another week later I finished tier 70. For level 4 I also needed one week. I play about 4-5 hours a day, so if you calculate that back, it should totally be possible to achieve with 2 hours a day. Not sure what you did to reach 200 hours, I reached tier 70 without level 4 around 140 hours

It's seriously not bad. I got 70 a couple days before tome 4, and there's no way in hell I played anywhere near 200 hours.
