6 feet under challenge is impossible (99%)

I tried 10 times with 6 differents killers : Trapper, Hag, Freddy, Bubba, Doctor, Demogorgon

I either get 3 killed/1 escape, 3 killed/1DC, or no one killed in basement.

I use Agitation + Iron Grasp + MYC or Territorial

I'm about to lose my mind. Every time i finished a game and failed, i'm getting more and more frustrated and about to cry.

This challenge is complete luck/RNG

Done with Bubba w/ Agi, Iron, BBQ and Ruin on Gas Heaven. Not impossible. Wish you luck

the thing is i'm doing the challenge for the BP or Rift but for the Lore :(

I think i'll just stick to playing survivor and help everyone including killers to get their achievement done

I got it first try, I was lucky I think. Got 2 people into the basement, camped them (yeah I know its scummy but the challenge basically forced me to do that), got a third survivor that tried to save them and the 4th one stepped into a trap.

The thing is, if a survivor DCs you dont get the challenge which is stupid.

yeah this is why i run MYC, i mean i hate when people camp me as survivor so i don't want to be like that as killer ^^

I guess i'll just try every killer until i make it XD

I'd recommend trapper. Iron graps + agitation and more traps / dark traps. Get lucky and get a survivor into the basement and then trap it, maybe a survivor steps into a trap and you can snowball from there.

    Good luck!

well this is actually what happened on my first try and that i almost got it until the last person DCed right in the doorway of the basement :(

Try a plague slug basement build with black incense, you'll get a group that doesn't cleanse, get everyone down and get them to the basement

Got it second try as Hag. Temple of Purgation, basement in the temple. Set up a 3 gen around the temple gen, kept the net nice and closed off. Gave them enough of a fighting chance by not caring about the other gens they weren’t willing to give up.

The best thing you can do is memorize the basement location and then play normally until a survivor is on third hook, on that hook you can just go to the basement with iron grasp and agitation and repeat the process for all four surivors

They wont avoid the basement if you dont play near it

yus that was i thought when i tried Doctor only using Agitation so i would make sense since it also increase the TR

It doesnt mean you are getting it the first time you try, it is a tough challenge, and the devs were smart enough to make this challenge impossible to farm (tried baiting farming and it still didnt work)

Just have patience and you will get it eventually

The problem is that the community is at least 60% trolls, so if you get well positioned and they see what you're trying to do, they'll dc b4 you can hook them. It really is rng trying to get that lobby that won't dc. GLHF!

Trust me, the lore is nothing amazing.

    Its actually super boring

I got it with bubba on third game. Best map for this challenge is haddonfield (main building basement). Agi/iron grasp proxy camp and don't leave basement area for chases. Wish you on the luck in the world and no dc's.

Perma T3 myers + The game + Not very bright survivors and you have a chance.

I did it like 2 or 3 tries in.

Trapper. Tar bottle, stitched bag. Ruin, agitation, iron grasp, nurses.

Trap the hell out of basement and strategically around the general area.

I think I had lampkin lane.

Keep trying its doable. Good luck.

You need the first down right here now. I think Myers is not for this challenge. I mean you can get it but is more difficult. Toxic Bubba, Hag, Trapper are perfect for this challenge.

  • This, if you want the lore I am sure someone will post it all on the wiki/youtube.

It's a badly designed challenge don't suffer over it.

I finally did it ! on my 12th try , first time trying it with Wraith ! The survivors 3 genned themselves and at some point they gave up XD For the entire game the Claudette kept pointig at me to lead me on the other side so i was like "not taking the bait". But in the endchat she actually told me she needed the 4 stuns challenge and unlucky for her her teammtes dropped every pallet in one side XD

This - if every time you race a survivor to the basement then linger around, they'll know what you are up to and avoid the basement like the death zone it is. Kind of like EGC saves - takes several games for lightning to strike, keep the challenge active and just let it happen.

But yeah challenges like these are not only very difficult at the 'better' ranks they are just plain unhealthy.

I don't understand why survivors DC when the match is over just to screw over the killer. all they are doing is moving the problem to another group of survivors.

This challenge increases the number of camping killers and when survivors DC to ensure the killer doesn't complete the challenge, they'll have to do it again with another group.

I also needed a lot of tries, finally made it with Myers and Tuft of hair on Suffocation Pit. Not the best map, no basement in the middle. But I could defend the gens on the basement side (with Pop) and once Tier 3 is up, the chases were quite short, allowing me to get to the basement each time.

But I also was lucky on that one, because one DC happened after the second down. But that guy was already on the hook, so it counted against the challenge. (For what reason do you DC on a hook? Afraid of kobe?! I'll never get that...)

@Adeloo Gratz to the challenge :) And for future challenges: Don't force it, that just causes frustration. Just do the build/killer from time to time that you feel most comfortable with to achieve it and go for normal games. If you notice, it is possible, go for it, otherwise just play the game.

@joker7997 I wouldn't suggest a slug build XD that raises DC chances ;)

You proved yourself wrong. It isn't impossible. It isn't even 99% impossible. That would require 1 out of 100 games to succeed. Lol, even for you it was only 8% impossible =p

Did it first try with Basement Trapper. I used darkened traps to snatch up the survivors.

I had one of mine DC while on hook. Still got the challenge.

Did it with insidious Bubba first try, and i am not a good killer. Hooked one, patroled around the barn where the basement was (its one of the autoheaven maps i think), got a second, and then sat back with insidious. Afterwarts, survivors said i was toxic, i told them i just did it for the achivement, and they told me i lie, because the achivement would only require to hook the surivors, not kill them. Then i told them they mean a different achivement, they said they did them all and i was lying. So maybe its just about getting surivors that are not too bright.

Ok so here's how I did it. Spirit: haunted, sloppy, bbq, agitation, addons for duration and recovery speed. I did this without camping or being toxic. So the way to do this is when you find your first survivor you down them qickly and instantly look for the next one without hooking the first one because about now is the time your haunted should pop unless the survivors are super cautious. Down the second and hook both on random hooks cuz getting them to basement is a waste of time unless you want to camp which I don't suggest. Keep gen pressure and down when possible and during chases try to get rid of the pallets around the basement (mine was the shack on a farm map so only 1 pallet). When 1 or 2 survivors are on last hook kill one of them and focus on getting everyone on last hook. When theres 1 or 2 gens left kill one more and pressure them to the basement. Down 3rd and slug the last one.

I got it on my 7th try with Freddy on mount ormond. You really need a basement centric build and pure luck for this. Not looking forward to the dark sense one.

  • lynelmane
    lynelmane Member Posts: 549

I was about to complete mine but then 2 of the survivors DC'd. DC's should count for the challenge IMO because I had them downed in the basement and they DC'd before i could pick them up.

    @Raccoon @Dreamnomad Thank you :)

Well not 99% impossible but it's the challenge that is the most RNG out of the bunch XD

This is one of those challenges that are very annoying and not really worth the trouble.

  • LemeTheMeme

I got it 2 times in a row with Billy using Iron Grasp, Agitation, BBQ, and Ruin. However, you have to proxy camp.

Also, the reason I got it twice in a row is because, I was trying to get the 5 hooks in the basement and ended up killing all 4 in the basement.

It's not too hard, but you have to realise that anything that will encourage a player to DC is going to make it hard.

Give them false hope! don't be too far away, but be close enough to see scratches going into the basement or stand on a hill if you can!

Honestly, the best maps to do this one are Mother's Dwelling, and the Asylum (as awful as that map is, both basement spawns are easy to get to).

Literally it's luck based. I tried for a bunch of hours as well, even with insidious bubba. People will DC or bodyblock you down there on the basement. They will run away as far as possible.

Your only hope is to get clueless survivors for once. I'm at red ranks and could sacrifice 3. They were annoying with borrow time, DS, etc... And then I found the last one nearby the basement injured, got it just because he was rank 15 somehow. That was lucky.

Literally did a rant post yesterday because I was frustated. That challenge is ######### bs and devs should do something about it asap.

The trick is to get to the last 2 slug until you find the fourth then bring him to the basement. Then bring your slug in.

I found the hardest part about the challenge was DCikg survivors not really the actual challenge itself. Luckily it took only 3 games first two lost because of DC third one I got , thought for sure last guy was going to DC lol
