Are there any builds you feel are just plain mean or feel bad about using?

Mostly a question for killers. Are there any builds you won't run/feel bad about running because they feel mean, unfair, or just plain would be frustrating/no fun to play against?

Mostly about perks but add-ons, offerings and items are of course included if you feel they're applicable. (I just respectfully ask that this not devolve into whether keys/moris are unfair on their own or not as that discussion has been had before -- however specifying whether a key or mori feels more unfair with specific perks/add-ons/offerings is fine.)

I mean something along the lines of running Corrupt Intervention, Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, an Discordance all on one build, or an Oni with Nurse's Calling, where it feels like you're just making it a frustrating match for the other side.

Survivors are welcome to contribute of course, this question is just more applicable to killers I believe.

DS and Borrowed Time (With SWF) when the exit gates are open. I basically stole an entire kill from the killer by applying BT and giving em hope just to slap em with DS.

That's just mean but its in the game... "Shrugs"

Infinite tier 3 Myers (unless paired with tombstone), rusty shackle hag, and black incense Plague. Everything else is fair game. Very few add-on or perk combos feel unfair to me. Slugging builds can be annoying but I don't blame the killer for doing it, I blame the devs for forcing them to do it just to win.

I don't bring a mori unless I see a key or a bunch of toolboxes. There's nothing wrong with bringing a key or a mori but they're both boring af. I also don't like how you're guaranteed to lose points for bringing a mori, while using a key gives you more. Just my 2 cents :P

Lmao unfair, with god loops, god pallets, and perks that allow for multiple mistakes to be made, and insanely fast and easy gen repairs, no I don't find any build for killers to be cheap because even the POTENTIALLY strongest builds are easily negated because they involve totems which have trash spawn locations to begin with

As a survivor though I do feel bad if I run DS exhaustion perk, adrenaline and self care of fixated/urban

One of my friends I SWF with has what she calls her "b*tch build". I believe it is Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable and either Deliverance or Head On, I don't quite remember, but I could ask her. Usually it isn't needed but when she gets to use all parts of it... I do feel bad for the killer.

No I understand. I don't think the emblem system is very effective but I understand originally it was a BP rank up system and people abused it by farming, so I understand why they changed it. I just don't agree with balancing for a 2K and 2 escape and then killers de-ranking for getting that. They should stay where the are and pip if they do better, imo.

I don't agree, but I understand why you feel that way. I am a survivor main so I may be biased. I find some killers to be less/more balanced than others, so running something on Legion versus on Meyers could be very different builds.

I generally don't find anything wrong with SC and Urban against killers, but I get the rest.

Urban isn't so bad but self care completely negates the need for any team mate interaction I can 99 myself work a gen and heal myself by having self care you can 100% focus on just doing gens because you have no need to interact with any survivor and it allows you to bring better add ons such as flashlight, map, tool box . The med kits are arguably the worst add ons because there's so many good healing perks in the game

NOED and Ruin are both perks i dislike tbh.

on one side they are boring for me, on the other side they are just too risky

Uhhh, I kind of feel bad if I have Iridescent Head Hatchets with Huntress.

As for perks I guess I kind of don't like running the basement build very much. aka Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, usually with something like ruin. Unless the basement is just in a crappy spot, I'll almost always get someone in the basement, and either they kill themselves early, or I get more victims for the basement when they try to save them while I do my soft patrols.

I usually give them enough wiggle room to go for saves. But I just feel scummy and I don't know why. Feels like an unjustified win, because the survivors are just wanting to save their friend. And most of the time there are 3 gens I can guard while also being semi-close to the basement to head back to them in the process.

Oh that's a good one I didn't think of, something like Agitation, Iron Grasp, Monstrous Shrine and maybe Territorial Imperative or Mad Grit. That could get really brutal really fast. (A good build for the basement hook rift challenges sadly but it makes you feel kind of scummy.)

I mean like I said it can be a crappy build if the basement is in a bad place. But usually I'd run it on like Ghostface for example. They don't know I'm around, I get to basically stalk as they go in, ignore Borrowed Time as I approach. It's pretty dirty stuff. I know Trapper's Basement is strong as well.

I tried it a few times after watching Monto's Basement videos. I haven't done the kill 4 survivors in the basement in a single game yet. I've done hook 5 survivors in the basement challenge, did that in a single game...I did happen to kill all 4 in the basement...shame I can't do two archive challenges at once lol

When I play killer and I feel like I need a slowdown perk I limit myself to only use one. If I used Ruin + Pop I'd feel awful. If I use one of those perks and go against a bunch of potatoes, then I feel bad too. Never used Iri Heads cause I'd feel awful. Basically anything I hate going against as survivor I feel bad about using as killer.

For survivor I felt bad for killers if someone used an instaheal. Now there's not really anything I feel bad about using anymore.

Same thing happened to me! Got the 5 basement hooks in one round but cannot get the 4 basement hooks in one round.

Plague with Play With Your Food, Nemesis, Black Incense and Vile Emetic/Apple is just really, really dirty. A Ebony Mori on top of that is the icing on the cake.

Honestly, no build, wether killer or survivor, feels really broken. The only thing that feels really easy is playing in a swf.

I feel bad when I run NOED on anyone, or MYC on Hag. It just feels cheap.
