Hiding Wraith = no pip
I've had several games now where killer was literally hiding all game, going AFK invisible Wraith. They hide near the door and open it as soon as the last gen pops. The only way to find them would be with a flashlight and force visibility I guess? It's impossible to pip that way and while it is a free escape and free points, I wish this wasn't possible. Is there a way to counter this? Like killer not doing actions for a long time gets crows and goes visible or gets kicked from the game or something like that. Also not really sure why people do this.

I don't think it's good for people to pip despite not having to do anything to survive. It's too easy to rank up as survivor as it is.

People do this because it's a guaranteed way to de-rank as killer and get easier matches.
I've also noticed killers going AFK to grind Rift XP, as it's based on time spent in a match rather than points.
Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do but do gens and leave. Report them if it makes you feel better.

They should have expected that with the rift grind. Take your free escape and stop crying, loot a chest and leave. Also the 4 gen challenge is a piece of cake with afk wraith.

At the same time it sucks to end up DEPIPING because of it. Last game I had like that, I had to quickly search around for dull totems to break for extra emblem points. Just BARELY managed to black pip with them.

No, people shouldn't pip on games like that but they definitely shouldn't depip either. It makes no sense that you're punished because the killer decided not to play the game.
This game needs better protection for the other side when someone decides to leave.

Pipping should not be possible. However, people should not Depip. This goes for afk Wraith, crouching Pig, Killers standing in a Corner and Basement Leatherface.

I've had an AFK Demagorgon who was running Insidious, but I was still able to get Stealth emblem progression by sticking near them. Just wait nearby for a few minutes, and you should get enough to safety.

You can blink behind the gates as Nurse, too.. with Insidious perk. Survivors wont find you. :D they can hang near you during end game, but usually survivors will just leave, if you look into a wall.

I do it, but not afk. I stalk survivors for points and then open gate to end game. It's really immersive. I'm not high enough rank killer to cause depip tho I hope.

A wraith did this to me on Hawkins, I found a key, did all gens, opened both doors, did all totems, and escaped all 4 at a time through hatch and got the achievement. I pipped if I remember correctly.

Not sure reporting does anything, they aren't holding the game hostage. Technically being nice and letting survivors farm points is a way to play the game I guess? It's like a super exxagerated version of giving hatch.

I've done this on Wraith using noed when a survivor comes to open it for the instadown giggles but I get you, afking can be annoying when it happens multiple games in a row.
Personally, I find afking in front of ruin to be pretty funny when the survivor doesn't understand why they can't get to it for a second.

I have maybe sometimes just a liiiiiittttle bit done this myself
I don't go afk instead I sorta just pretend and play a silly role like defending basement chest as Trapper
Or playing Park Ranger tourist guider Billy
Now I see that look on your face, yes I get bored sometimes. However I am legally obligated(I think) to some fun silly trolling once in a while lol

Why do you care about pips. Seriously. The rank system means nothing in this game. Hell I'd rather lose a pip than gain one as a killer, because as soon as you become a green killer you will face red/purple SWF groups 90% of the time on console. Percentage nog exaggerated.

I think stuff like this is necessary. You can only have so many stressful, try-hard and or sweaty games in a row before one needs a break. Having games where you just mess around are a ton of fun and super relaxing. ^_^

AFK Bubba with Insidious (for the silence) is hilarious. People will stand in front of you for boldness points and you can scare the ######### out of them by suddenly attacking them with the chainsaw, also triggering the heartbeat. I've even had 4k games this way.

I would love to see a kick feature where if someone is afk for to long then they get sacrificed , but thatโll suck for the other survivors playing cause they wonโt win probably

I guess I need to AFK Wraith to go down further in ranks past green. Purple on console is meaningless because you'll just have red ranks all day. Very rarely do you get a group that actually matches your skill level.

We can expect changes to the emblem system, which has sucked since inception. I remember king saying that we can expect a rework to the piping system, personally Iโd like emblems gone.

I had an afk wraith block his ruin the whole match with the unsuppressed terror radius add-on.

I have also had matches with Wraiths that are afk. Sometimes with other killers doing the same with Insidious. I don't really care if they do it, I fix and escape, but sometimes other survivors just go try to find the killer and I have had 2 matches were it was just LF in the basement and they all got downed and camped to death.

In all honesty they should just remove the ranking system. It doesn't serve a purpose. You get nothing at rank one. If there was some incentive to be a high rank then maybe. Most higher ranks are either sweaty killers and toxic survivors or swf. I've even had 4 red ranks against me at rank 10 so yeah.

just clip it and submit it for a ticket, it breaks the game rules. the more people do it the faster the ban will happen. personally im not sure why the devs havent fixed in a timer to kick people for being afk

Why? They arenโt holding anyone hostage? Iโve done an AFK Bubba build lately itโs hilarious, if anyone gets close after gens are done I saw them and blood warden usually gets me 2-3 kills

There are no bans for afk surviviors either
