They don't have BBQ?

So I thought I'd ask if anyone else has gone threw this where you are playing survivor up against a killer who you are positive has BBQ because every time they hook they know exactly your general area. However, right when they finally get you they don't and well... I wanna know what is that? Is that just experience or should I assume the worst?

I had one to two games where I was certain this killer had BBQ like there was no way the didn't have I they knew where I was at all times and I'd assume they had like Whispers, BBQ and maybe Nurses but again right when the match is over they don't have any perks or they have no tracking perks period so yeah... thoughts?

Chances are it was just luck. If there are two or three gens that Survivors seem to keep hitting, I will always make a patrol of that area after hooking, just to check if the gens are still broken or if any progress has been made. If you were hiding in the back of a map behind a brick corner and they came straight to you, otherwise it was just experience and luck on the Killers part.

A mixture of luck and experience. Older killers are used to search for survivors without BBQ. So they check gens. If the gen has been progressed, the killer knows that there is probably someone nearby.

I use Whispers, and if I know you were working on certain gens I will check that. I make people think I have BBQ all the time when I haven't used it in a while. And with Whispers I can confirm if you are on certain gens from a distance based on when I get it to proc as I approach.

The killer is in your head, he can predict how you behave because he plays survivor too.
I recommend doing the same as survivor btw, playing killer will teach you sth

I just had a game where I was positive that he must have had BBQ, because I crawled into a corner, well hidden, twice, left no scratch marks and the killer came straight to me, post-game chat no BBQ or Whispers.

But he did let us farm and not kill anyone, so who knows.....

You mentioned crawling so I'm guessing you were hit down. Deerstalker is a perk killers use that can help them find downed survivors in a certain radius.
