Favourite sound in Dead by daylight?
Hello
This is not about the music of DBD but rather the sounds in general. What are you favourite sounds in this game?
For example, my favourite sound is the when the trapper is picking up traps or vaulting through windows. The noise of the leather is really nice somehow.
Also i love the scream of Dwight when he gets hit, the "ahaiijaa" gets me very time. :D

Piggy is the cutest, she does cute roars, she does cute slash sounds, and when stunned she lets out a little scream so cuuuuute
but also, i like the sound of leather Ghostface does when he crouches/uncrouches

My favorite sound would be leaked GhostFace when he activated Night Shroud (in some leaked videos), that sound was amazing, I'm sad that is wasn't implemented.
But my current favorite sound that is in the game would be Piggy getting stunned, best sound for me.

Pig's stun noise takes the cake easily, followed closely by the squishing sound of a hatchet hitting. Trying for a longrange shot, only to hear that squish to verify a hit...its nice.

The sound of Trapper's traps being set I find surprisingly soothing. Don't ask me why.
Some of Dwight's pain sounds are so adorable. "Whoa ho ho!!!".
The Clown's laugh is awesome.

Nah, thats just an average game as Clown, lol. The guy having no map traversal ability and constantly giving away his location by making survivors scream makes it easy for the rest of the team to just pump out gens.

I absolutly agree. The sound in general, the music, the effects... just great! Dont get me wrong, the whole art design, the mood they created and everything is really cool, but in my opinion, the sound stands obove it all.

Can't lie, it's gotta be the hatch (and/or hatch opening). I remember at first, I had no idea what it sounded like and was confused when people said I'd understand when I heard it. I still remember the first time I heard it and went "OH! THAT!" Super satisfying, and still is to this day. 😊

When sounds actually work and I’m able to hear breathing and footsteps...
My top five favorites:
- The idle sound of Spirit makes on her end while playing killer. It’s quiet and soothing especially on an indoor map.
- Plague while using Mad Grit “REE ROO RAH”
- Huntresses tantrum after getting stunned.
- Demogorgon’s scream after getting a successful hit.
- Myers chase music

I'm biased, but I've always felt the audio design in DbD is one of its strong points.
If I gotta pick a sound I like most... hmm. The sound of a Hex perk getting cleansed. It's such a sharp sound, it really has impact.

No matter if you are biased or not, most here would probably agree. Sound is very strong in DbD!
And yes, the sound of a cleansed hex is great, very powerful indeed.

I like the Oni's WRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH and Demogorgons REEEEEEEEEEEEE that you can hear across the map. Much spook
I also love the sound of Freddys gloves after you hit someone. The little scissor noise is so satisfying

Great Skill Check, and the "dong" 's of EGC, especially when you can hear the stopwatch when the time is about to run out
