Killers that DC

I've been seeing a bunch of random discussions about survivors DC'ing and as that can be true about some survivors, not all, we need to talk about the Killers who do it as well. A few games now we've had the Killer DC on us. The first time was right after we got the door open, then sent us all a message about getting better at the game, the 2nd time was because he was clearly having trouble getting us down to hook us, and kept escaping them, so mid chase they dc'ed. If survivor mains need to get better and not rage quit, then killer mains need to do the same.

Agreed 100% Dcing because the game is not going as expected is an ######### move

Unless the killer is trapping you in the thompson house stairs or something like that there is no justifiable reason to dc

There is no reason to DC on either side, agreed. Just play the game through.

As stated before, killer mains expect survivor mains to get better at game and not to rage quit. If the survivors are popping 3 gens in the first 2 minutes, then killer mains need to get better and make sure survivors are not popping that many gens that quickly.

The only time that a killer disconnected and I wasn't upset was when the lag was so bad that survivors started floating up above the trees.

Only time it is really justified to DC for killer is when they get stuck in a pallet or stuck on a tree. I’ve only gotten stuck in a pallet once and I had to DC.

As a survivor it is justifiable to DC when the killer traps you and you cannot move. It’s holding the game hostage. That happened a few days ago when a Wraith cloaked and trapped two of my teammates. They didn’t DC though. They died to EGC. Or when the ping is so terrible you can’t play without getting hit due to rubber banding issues. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten 500+ ping killers and I was teleporting across the map. Sometimes I don’t pay attention to the pre-game lobby ping.

When you DC due to the game not going in your favor it’s not justifiable. If worse comes to worse and you don’t wanna play the round, just AFK in a corner and go make some food.

Oh yeah, had to DC before because of lag, messaged the killer and got a, "Shut up you're a rank 10." Lag is a justifiable excuse to DC tbh.

Being bullied as killer sucks. People think they're funny when they camp god loops. Then they tbag and clicky clicky at me if they're about to escape. But through all that i keep my chin up and kick them out, like an old man chasing stupid kids off his lawn. DCing just because your game has gone poorly is childish, but what can you really do? If you start punishing them, you're punishing everyone with internet troubles or those who literally cannot finish the game otherwise (bodyblocking, stuck in place, etc.)
