you guys made freddy way too strong
like take away his teleportation ability or something. he's way too strong and no one ever escapes against him.

im gonna assume this is a poor bait attempt, but nonetheless taking away his teleportation ability is a huge nerf that will turn him into a low-budget clown that has to wait for people to sleep just so that he can slow them down for 3 seconds or something during a chase

He's fine imo. Borrowed time is useless against him, looping is useless against him, huge unbalanced maps are useless against him sounds balanced to me. No sarcasm.

I don't think anything Freddy has is particularly strong, he just has no weakness. He has gen slow via secondary objectives with the alarm clocks. He has map pressure with his teleport. He has anti looping with pallets/snares respectively.
Every killer has some form of weakness or lack of coverage in their ability. Freddy just.... Doesn't. You can't gen rush him, he can slow down gens. You can't loop him. You can't keep distance. I don't think he's overpowered but sometimes playing against Freddy I just get the impression of well, what the hell am I supposed to do? He doesn't have a weakness.

They need to change pipping for killers so they don’t have to be such try hards. I’m sure some would continue to play toxic, but balance would be 2 survivors die and 2 live each game on average. Right now it’s 4K most games so it’s pretty unbalanced.

I do agree, stealth is always an option. But it becomes significantly more difficult. In the dream world you have a white glow that makes you easier to spot. Any Freddy worth their salt will likely be running either BBQ, giving you only the time it takes for him to teleport to your gen to hide, or surveillence meaning any successful stealth attempt is nullified the second you get back on the objective.

He DOES have a weakness. Just wake up.
If everyone focuses on being awake all the time, he has no snares or pallets, and his ability to teleport is slowed. This means you would be able to loop him, and he would have reduced map pressure. The only other killer that can be hurt this badly is a Trapper being followed by a sabo survivor.

Just remember where pallets are located and you shouldn't fall for his fake pallets very often, I'm not joking about this either. for dream snares just treat them as weaker clown gas and drop the pallet early. His win rate is so high because people don't do these two things and instead treat him like any other killer during the chase so they fall for the fake pallets and continue looping the same part of that loop when a trap is placed instead of paying attention and looping the other wall connecting to that pallet or just using the pallet early.
As for his teleport its not that busted, it is strong but it does have a long cool down unless your team is not trying to wake up. I actually think its the one thing they did right since the survivors have enough time to react and leave that gen while Freddy doesn't get screwed by huge maps. He does appear out of no where in the movies a lot like he is teleporting so i think the ability suits him well.

freddy changes that would make him more balanced:
- BT actually works
- He has a limit of 5-10 snares
- His pallets work like the doctors
- No point in having multiple clocks if you can only use one so, make all clocks usable.
- He can’t see auras of survivors that aren’t asleep, that only makes sense.
His teleport is fine, just have someone run him around while ppl commit to gens, simple.

I really don't understand why people think like this.
Imagine if the Trapper had a Leather Boot Locker, where you lose the ability to get caught in traps for 1:30.
Imagine if the Wraith had a table with heat vision goggles that let you see through his invisibility for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Imagine if the Demogorgon had a mechanic where, every 60 seconds, survivors would go to the upside down and increase demo's teleport charge speed. But then you could get people out and, for A MINUTE AND A HALF, you could remove his charge speed.
But everyone thinks waking up against Freddy is bad because it takes time?

Freddy is hard to see while you're awake meaning he hits you easier than most TR killer meaning you're back in dream state faster than 1:30, in fact you're in it whenever he wants. Freddy can still teleport while all survivors are awake btw.

Pallets and snares don't need to be nerfed but other than that if survivors ever get nerfed freddy can also get those small tweaks.

Maybe I'm just weird but I prefer being asleep against Freddy. When awake he is much less visible and I can't predict him very well.

No, you missed the main point, no one wakes up with Freddy because of the pointlessness of it, Imagine, you go to a clock, you wake up, you wasted a bit of seconds of another potential gen, suddendly you get hit by Freddy in 10 seconds later, not only you wasted your time, but you also are back to the dream world, alongside with it's debuffs, believe me, it's pointless, you only lose important time you could be by doing gens, and he can insantly teleport and kick them, gets worse if he has pop.

Drop the pallet instead of trying to loop him like normal and wake up every chance you get. The teams I lose to stay awake and make me go through the 1000 pallets on the map instead of letting me get free hits from snares

Yea i guess he will get a slight nerf sooner or later, he has a bit 2 much of everything. If i were the defs i would look into the snares first, they seem just a tiny bit too powerful for my taste, considered everything else he does is also really good.

Is he slower when he puts down his snares? Cuz if anything should be changed about him should be that.
I mean imagine if Plague had no charge to her vomit and was walking around at normal speed puking on anyone. Yet she is still strong.

Not trying to offend you or anything tho.
But what rank are you and on what platform?
Cause i play both sides at rank 1 and yeah i get a lot of 4k but there are also times i get less or none.
And as survivor i escape more than dying as well as my teammates, and i play solo so no communications for or from me.
Again I'm not saying you're bad or anything, I'm just curious because i see the opposite a lot

You people need to stop complaining about killers being to op, cause that is just bs.
When you play rank 1 on both sides you will see that killers are a puppet of the survivors.
Cause that crying about nurse and spirt was unnecessary only because a lot of people didn't want to think outside of the box.
There were so many counters to them but a lot of people didn't want to know about it.

Yea here is what ruins the balance for many.
They balance the game around the mid ranks because that's the biggest part of the player base. I experienced most enjoyable games in between 16 to 10.
20 to 16 killers usually 4k. Like every game.
Rank 9 and higher killers get outplayed.
This results in a loud minority spamming the forums with the same rant posts over and over again. Because people fail to understand Game Development and it's limitations.

I've noticed you complain about most killers, you're not going to be happy till a killer jumps on a gen with you to help you finish it. All killers have different strategies to beat them, learn the strategies and change your game play up according. Just to be clear, I'm a red rank solo survivor and i don't see a problem with freddy.

with the newest changes,bt does work.he does have a limit of 10 snares,except you can replace them over like hag.If he had 10 limited snares that would be like clown had 10 bottles only lmao.He CAN NOT SEE AURAS OF SURVIVORS ASLEEP,and the point of going to the furthest clock is to make you waste time and to slow down gens.
