Why are SWF survivors so toxic?
It’s so funny because I was doing the unnerving presence challenge and I seen that the exit just can’t be opened so I threw on an ebony Mori to get through the challenge fast. Little did I know I was facing a SWF group so of course I recognized their coordination really fast and knew I was going to have a challenge, but in the end I ended up coming out on top because they truly only had 1 good player on their team and they got lucky with 3 good window spots on the chapel (clowns map) getting back on track I ended up receiving messages saying I’m trash and that I’m bad because I have to use ebony mori and blah blah entitled survivor crap anyways they acted like they were good when they literally had 1 good player who DCed before I could Mori him (lmao). Back to the question though why do survivors think being toxic is cool I’m a solo rank 1 survivor main and don’t lash out on killers if they outplay me or Mori me because I know that playing killer is hard and stressful and I’m pretty sure they don’t want to hear the complaints of some SWF kiddies.

Some swfs are toxic just because they can.
Usually I would understand if someone argues about moris, but on the other hand, I bet this swf was not better and had all the second chances perks equipped + the most annoying items + their microphons.
So... I would smile at them and think "if you think you are any better then let me pls lol the next hour".
Still, there are a ton of swf out there that are ok. Not every swf is like this.

SWF players are used to win 95% of their matches. Some of them got a god complex because of that and are toxic for the same reason. They can do it, there's literally one build that can stop them at the moment.
6 -
Because the game is entirely balanced in their favor and add on top of the fact that most of them have a sick up their ass. It's easy to talk ######### when everything goes your way all the time.
5 -
So they’re toxic and unfair, but you still won? What’s your question?
2 -
Losing is unacceptable. Toxic killers also have this mindset.
5 -
The question is why are they so toxic like why can’t they just take a loss I’m pretty sure they win almost all of their matches because SWF is easy with no downfalls

It goes both ways. And not all swf are toxic. Plus c'mon with the moris already. Cant wait til those and keys are nerfed out of the game.

Even if we ignore claims like "swf players inherently have a big ego" and the like there's two simple reasons you might feel that way.
- Negativity bias. Not accusing you of being irrational in a bad way at all, it's completely natural, but you remember the bad experiences more than the good ones.
- "Toxic" people generally play with other "toxic" people, because playing with someone like that when you don't enjoy that sort of behavior yourself isn't fun at all. And when you have 4 people like that encouraging the behavior in eachother you get a very memorable (in a bad way) encounter.

I hate when people just pull numbers out of their butt's...
I can guarantee you that they do not have such a high Winrate.
3 -
Okay. Coordinated 4man r1 swfs are used to win 95% of their matches. Better?

High rank SWF is the easiest and single most powerful thing in this entire video game. Voicecomms and knowing everyone's loudout and playstyle is a giant massive buff, with absolutely no downside whatsoever. Its like stacking the 2 old range add-ons for Nurse (Omegablink). And ontop of that, it takes absolutely zero skill to gain those buffs.

There is definite toxicity in individuals but I believe that as a group it gets Amplified. When playing Survivor I am no stranger to some of my friends trying to convince me that the reason why I was hit, downed, or hooked is because of BS and not because the killer was better than me. Sure there are times that hands down I know that I was perfectly mind gamed or that the killer pulled off a slick maneuver. There are other times, however, where I wonder if the killer came back to Camp or came back to check an nearby generator just around the time I was being taken off the hook. You take my own doubts and you add three other people shouting in my ear, and I'm going to start to believe the mob. This is just my own experience, but I do see it happen a lot.
Also if you get your rocks off by triggering your toxic friends then do as I do when the killer gets a 4K. Tell your friends "Don't worry guys, the only reason why he beat us is because he's better than us" 😂😂😂

No. Where is that number coming from? Please link the official statistics you got it from.
1 -
Try to get official stats for the term "are used to". Or official stats for anything relating coordinated swf.
0 -
Then don't use absolute numbers...
"SWF in red rank are won by survivors 90,5254456% of the time proven scientifically by my personal opinion and rough feeling without any data to back it up."
0 -
Not all SWF!
One of my friends calls me "The Mr Rogers of DBD", because I'll actually compliment the killer on good plays as he's ripping me a new one.
2 -
The devs encourage toxic behavior towards killer. They reward it by nerfing killers who get DC's against them, and feature the tbagging and bullying in their mash up videos for laughs.
The devs HATE killer, they HATE people who play killer.

That's why i used the term "are used to" and not "do win". Big difference m8.

This figure is just clearly madeup. Statistics showed that, on average,
More than half of the total Survivors are playing solo, while only 3-6% are playing in a full Survive With Friends group.
At rank one, 4 man SWF survival rate is approximately 60% across all platforms.
Please be educated when attempting to use figures. It is easy to be proven false/a liar and when that happens your entire argument loses validity.

SwF groups will kill this game off at some point. Of course, not all SwF groups are toxic asses, but a lot are, and it's kind of sad that they feel the need to do it. I had a 4 man SwF on xbox earlier, all red ranks with me being green, and I got the win fairly easily. Because of this, they all felt the need to send me messages telling me I cheated, camped, hacked, I need to uninstall the game, and various offensive words that I won't repeat here. As long as this kind of behaviour continues from these kinds of groups, this game will stay one step behind what it could be in my opinion.
1 -
No difference. In both cases it is incorrect and a false number.

SwF is a minority. Especially 4 man SwF is VERY rare to encounter.
If you would have checked the link provided by the post before yours you would've seen that.

Does the number in a SwF really matter? The point still stands. There is no need for any size SwF groups to go on like they do. I could care less if there was only 1 single SwF group in existence, any that act toxic in any way, or send abusive messages post-matches, should not be playing this game. It ruins the games community as a whole. I just want to play a game for fun and enjoyment, not to be sent abusive messages after they lost a match, or when they decide to be sore winners about it

Not all SWF are toxic. It's just a small number that is like that. It is disappointing when that happens.
0 -
I know those statistics. They don't show the coordinated 4man r1 escape/kill rate, so why should they proof or negate my statement?
0 -
Why? Do you know the correct one? I doubt.
That number is my own experience as rank 1 killer and survivor, swf player btw. BHVR themselves are unable to release useful stats, so i have to use my own observations to build my opinion. Am i wrong?
0 -
Then please send me your collected data sheets from which you calculate the 95% from.

Yes and you can report that behaviour... I met so many toxic solo survivors.... It is not exclusively SWF.
The numbers matter too. It is always bad when people are toxic you are correct. But there is no such Armageddon like toxic SWF epidemic as many want to make it look like.

Voice comm should have been there for solo from the beginning so that they could've balanced both modes accordingly.
I agree on that. And yes the high rank SWF are powerful. But they are also very very very rare.
In addition the game is not balanced around the highest or lowest ranks but around the majority of players which is somewhere in the middle.

Are you okay?

Uh, you might want to read the post before attempting to make a witty comment. His question, if you had bothered to read past the first line, is "Why are survivors so toxic?"
A question you clearly don't have the answer to, as you seem to be part of the problem.

Why are we pretending that killers are never toxic? All I see are "why are survivors so toxic 😞" threads but I can count on one hand how many people I've ever seen say that killers can be toxic too.
0 -
Why are you posting on year old threads?
0 -
Do you have a vid of your match? i mean you played an ebony morri to do your "challange". since you rly wanted it done i would assume you played in a not so nice way and by that you earned your toxic behavior. you could also say, your playstyle increases toxic behavior.
btw as others already pointed out, there are not many 4 man SWFs out there. as killer, i always enjoy good SWFs. its more fun than the farming of brainless console palyers this days.
if someone is toxic as surv in game or in the chat is pointless, cause this type of persons are toxic as survivor and as killer. this type of persons are also the usually ebony morri players.
