Why and how I would use Self-care? (For Self-care users)
I just wanna try it out again so can someone can say to me why I would use it and when I would use in match

The only use I can think of is a last minute heal, in a solo match, during egc, everybody is injured and someone's on the hook.

We're talking about a very niche situation. Otherwise self-care is pretty useless, those 32 seconds could be used to repair a generator. Basically you should heal only if everyone else is injured, if you want to go for a save, if you know the killer is a stealth killer (ghost face, wraith) and you're in a bad position without any repositioning perks (sprint burst or dead hard).

Use it as a backup, not a primary source of healing if you ask me.
Might as well bring a medkit to make use of the efficiency bonus and use that first, but if you end up in that situation where you want to be healthy and can't get it from any other sources, you have self care available for that moment. Also lets you get away with medkit + charge combos that don't add up to a full 2, 3, 4 or whatever heals and can finish the last one off with self care.
It's not the perk that "frustrates" people, it's when people feel like they have to run away to self care every time they get injured no matter what.

It's just that sometimes you probably want to try to get something else done before healing, which is true even if you have a medkit or someone that could heal you. Get that gen done first, try to get that hex totem while the killer is busy, save the person on the hook - that sort of thing.
Not really a thing exclusive to self care but more healing in general.

I would suggest using self care with botany knowledge, and a med kit. It will make your med kits last a bit longer, and if used with an emergency med kit you have a few super fast heals. Self care should be only used as a backup plan, and if the killer isn’t applying pressure to your team. If you’re all dead hook with multiple gens left you should be trying to get some done, not wasting time self caring.
The most likely places to self care would be if you’re 3 gen’d and the killer will not leave the gens at all, heal across the map. Secondly is for the EGC, either healing for a save or to escape a killer guarding an exit.

Sorry to break it to you but there is no good reason to run selfcare other then bad habig. Forget this perk.

I laugh as killer when I see multiple selfcares in the post lobby screen and would love to thank them for making my life easier. I curse all the time wasted as my fellow survivors self care in a corner and arent productive.

You should try running inner strength instead it's a nice backup incase teammates won't heal you. Plus it incentivizes cleansing totems and stopping noed.

So its not like a medkit, like, you do not heal everytime you can, you do it when you realy need?

Or when my teammate runs away from me (who has a medkit) to self care, only to be caught downed and last hooked because "he wanted to use his self care".
That's such a stupid reason to die.

I only use Self-Care since I play with randoms, and let's face it. They abandon you the second they even smell the killer nearby. So for me, being able to heal comes in handy, but overall, I'll always try to get a teammate to heal me. If they stop running a marathon across the map that is

I haven't used it for a lot of time.
I just use Inner strength so i get a heal and so I keep out the noed,ruin,whatever.
And almost everyone tries to heal you, and if not, some teabag when standing next to them works as a heal me! signal.
if it doesn't gets a buff i don't see why we should play it again tbh
