NERF GEN SPEED
Just had a game of survivour and all gens was completed in 3:32.52 seconds and we wasn't even in a 4 man party.

Was the killer bad or something? They'd have to literally stand doing nothing the entire match to be done that fast

What map was it? What was everyone’s loadout? Was the Killer new or just messing around? Were they AFK?
There’s many factors that you have to consider when talking about gen speed.

I think you should take a look at the mechanic of skill checks, which can add substantial time to the completion of a generator. Survivors used to fail more skill checks per match in past years and months, and having that interaction factor makes for healthier gameplay than the survivors who can hit every skill check perfectly right now. It's an overlooked, critical part of the DbD experience.

Kill rate. Kills have nothing to do with wins so...what's your point again?

My point is killers are doing just fine. BHVR wants a 2 kills 2 escapes game and killers are getting over 50%.
Plus if gens were to take longer, all the gen regress perks would need to be looked at. Having current gen regress perks AND longer gens is just annoying.

BHVR wants to balance around 2kill 2escape. Their emblem system is just not working for that balance. So i'm gonna point out, that kills have nothing to do with wins as long as the emblem system does the same.
Gens shouldn't take longer, but another primary objective to complete together with gens would be nice.

I am a survivor main and i feel gen speed is way too quick even with 2 people with no speed increase and stuff. 1 person feel about right but 2 ( Idk how it is with 3 or 4 but it must be quicker) is light speed

The gens go faster in general if people don't work on the gens together. Them working together is actually more beneficial for the killer (Except in certain situations like prove thyself or it's a mid gen).

The game needs some kind of major secondary objective; that the survivors AND killers can choose to go for that significantly makes their chances of winning lower but offers like huge reward bonuses or something.
I think that would solve like 4 major frustrating problems with the game instantly.
The only problem I see with it is if like 2 or 3 survivors want to do it, but the other(s) do not and end up getting killed because they all went for it, even though they didn't want to. They would get seriously upset and spam the forums and such in anger so something would need to be done to make it not so problematic for them....I just don't know how to solve that problem, most things I can think of create new but similar problems....
Like it has to be such a risk, because the idea would be to equalize the huge one sided match problems this game has, something has GOT to be done about it, if they want to make this game genuinely enjoyable for more people.

Make a petition and I will sign it. Gen speed must be lowered. Yesterday game 15% of gen done in less then 4s. This is insane.

It was haddonfield and didn't get to look at ranks a I just went straight to blood web but i am ran 10 and everybody else was like rank 11 but must have just got back on game after rank reset. It was a hillbilly

haddonfield and didn't get a long look at load outs but there was a jane , claudette , me and a kate. killer was hillbilly. I did infact see a few decisive strikes on their load outs

1 person got downed but he tried to slug her but didn't work out as he got outplayed by kate but got the claudette back up

Nerfing generator speeds will also need to have the slow generator perks to be looked at as well (Ruin, Thanatophobia, Pop Goes The Weasel, etc.). Perks, such as Corrupt Intervention and Thrilling Tremors, are fine as they don't really slow generators.
Generators taking a couple centuries isn't really balanced and would make games extremely killer-sided.
Generators are fine as is, as killers have perks to slow generators. I am for more objectives for survivors for some more fun than being an M1 simulator. :p

Making gens go slower would be awful. You know how boring it is to just hold M1 for over a minute? There has to be another way to make game easier for killers.

Everytime survivors manage to repair all gens in less than 5 minutes everyone's having that surprised Pikachu face reaction but if a killer manages to down/kill all 4 survivors in less than 2 minutes everyone's like "just the survivor's fault, though!".
Talk about double standards.
I can immediately post multiple games of mine that I ended in 1 minute using the "worst killer in the game" aka Leatherface. That doesn't mean killers are op. It means survivors messed up A LOT. Same goes for games that end quickly in survivor's favor.
If they manage to repair all gens in a couple minutes then the killer messed up and doesn't deserve a single kill. Simple as that.

Rather than nerfing gen speeds, which is horrible because they are boring as hell. They should get their butts in gear and rework these maps. They should all be no bigger than the springwood maps like 140sqm. Some of them are like 170+. Then they need to fix the god windows and make loops more fair like in the springwood map or the lab.
That will come along way because killers will be able to pressure easier.
