Can we talk about how broken rank is?
Am i the only killer in the world that's a rank 6 going against rank 2s and 3s? I get absolutely sh*tted on by them and then i get, "gg ez baby killer" message. And don't mention some build or to run hex ruin because i do and im no dependant killer i run killers without ruin too. But cmon dbd fix rank instead of buffing some random killer or adding a new chapter.

That's not much of a difference and you should be able to deal with people 3 ranks higher than you. Ranks don't mean much in this game.

In this game, not really. I have seen people self care against noed at rank 2. It is super easy to rank up as survivor in this game.

My friend is Rank 14 on Killer but gets matched against Purple/Red Ranks. I'm unsure whether the matchmaking system is bust or not.

The difference between Ranks 2-3 and Rank 6 might as well be nothing. Rank stops being a reliable measure of skill way before that point.

I’m a rank 8 killer and I go up against ranks 1, 2, and 3 all the time and it’s honestly not the bad I consistently get 3ks not so much 4ks and yea some games I get my ass handed to me but that’s just cause they’re good survivors so the best thing is just to adapt they’re perks are predictable so if you can just out play them it’s not bad at all ( and just for reference if people say its cause I just play the most powerful killer I don’t I play doctor and Myers)

Docter has great map pressure and myers pressures the survivors to stay off gens and hide but i see what you mean its just i run meme builds alot so that might be a reason

You're pretty much the same skill level as them.

You'll keep going up against good survivors so you might have to choose between strong killers + meta perks and winning more or weaker killers + fun perks and winning less. Personally I'd stick with the fun stuff, imagine doing billy with ruin/BBQ/enduring/spirit fury or freddy with ruin/BBQ/weasel/discordance every match. Yawn

Yea I run a pretty much run anti gen build for doctor so I can farm blood point I use ruin barbecue overcharge and pop goes so I can’t really get gen rushed a lot so that helps a lot

This game forces survivor into red rank. Literally all you have to do is play. So those red rank survivor you're going against are mostly potatoes. You honestly just need to improve.

I run meme builds or toxic build but my main build is usually: BBQ, RUIN, FRANKLIN'S DEMISE, and Nurses calling

Dude I'm a rank 10-12 killer and haven't seen a surv over rank 8 in a week. I play on PS4, and the matchmaking is horrible. Its all sWF's running coms, and damn near impossible to win. I just wanna play with people around my skill cap and have fun. I'm tired of sweaty ass games with try hards who know every exploit, and have the best of everything that live, eat, and 💩💩💩 DBD.

Rank 9 killer, constantly getting 2's and 3's. I've adapted to get 2-4K's against them. Don't get me wrong, they've made me a better killer.

This happens all the time to me. In any game I play, Killer or Survivor, the Killer is almost always lower level than the survivors. It is terrible playing against 14-16 ranked killers then 1-4 ranked survivors. I wish BHVR listened and finally fixed the matchmaker, among other things.

It goes both ways lol. Two of us survived against a pig and then other two died. Me and the other guy that survived got a "gg" while that same killer sent my other two guys a "gg ez game". Real modest guy.

The entire game is broken. I'm surprised it doesn't crash more often.
Ranking is part of a poor gameplay experience. As it has no value except longer marchmaking. And toxicity, honestly.

It seems more difficult to rank down than it is to rank up honestly lol
