Opening Gates in 2020
It's 2020 and people are still opening gates? Is there a challenge to screw people over like this or what? Most of my matches is Survivors opening gates therefore screwing the last guy that bought time with the killer since he's in the middle of a chase. Worst case scenario is those survivors straight up abandoning the last guy.
It's pretty bad, Red ranks is a massive joke now. Didn't completely believe in the statement that Rank doesn't matter before but now I take my words back.

Depends, you can't just blame everyone without knowing everything. If you actually leave the gate to go back in, you could also kill the chased one by not opening. You have to go in to take the hit and then run towards the open gate, you have no time to open it afterwards. Just one example where it makes sense

A killer can corner you for 2 minutes, that's not an issue for the killer. Good luck getting out of the corner in such a situation, especially when your team mates aren't attempting to bodyblock the killer but stay at the exists so they can teabag the killer when he comes.

I honestly dont understand these potatoes. Why opening gates? Is it so difficult to keep it at 99% and wait nearby till you can confirm to yourself that noone is getting chased? Does it hurt so much?

They 99% the doors and leave to cleanse totems and loot chests. And the injured guy coming without body blocks and die in front of 99% door. Every day.

Every man for himself. If I get to the gate, I will leave. If I'm the guy being chased, I prefer for my team to leave, give me a chance at hatch. Had that situation the other night, two members got tunneled to death, my teammate got the gate open, but I was on the other side of the map. He left, and I got hatch.

I'm the same way, lol. It makes the games tolerable and less boring; and Plague needs all the help she gets in that regard. She's a snoozefest to play against.
As for the thread title...keep in mind, your team mates get pounds for hook rescues. They get a big fat zero if you walk out the gate with them at the end.
